It’s a very beautiful location with a direct view of Lake Pilsen. The water hookup right at the sleeping barrel was especially convenient. The campsites were incredibly spacious, and the location by the lake was beautiful—so clean, just perfect. Some Swiss campgrounds... could take a page from their book. Highly recommend this campground. There are always fresh rolls of every kind in the mini-market—it has everything you need. Our request for a shaded spot was granted—we even had our pick of 3 sites and were able to take our time looking them over.
We were particularly impressed by the consistently well-maintained restroom facilities. I’ve... never had so much space and privacy in a campground restroom—it was simply great!
We also really enjoyed the lake and its surrounding areas (lawn, several piers in excellent condition, kiosk/beer garden, lifeguard station, restaurant). Add to that the beautiful surroundings with all the lakes and the proximity to Munich. You could definitely stay here longer! We wholeheartedly recommend this campground—we didn’t find a single negative thing (and we weren’t even looking for any 😎).

It’s just disgusting how this area looks. Day visitors coming to swim also use this area, so on weekends, we campsite renters have to wait in line for the restroom.
