This year too, 4 days over Whitsun.
We were completely appalled at how we were treated there.
The new operator, Mr. König, lives up to his name.
It started with pure unfriendliness on arrival. Every little question seemed too much.... Well, our
We then booked our seat, of course we still had to pay for it. Now it got a whole lot worse. When we pointed out an error in the bill, Mr. König made a massive attack on us. His choice of words was insulting and aggressive! We clearly had the feeling that he was completely overwhelmed with a place of this size.
The decision was not easy for us after 10 really nice years, but under this operator we will clearly not visit the site again and will also advise anyone who asks us not to do so.
Perhaps the Knaus management should give it some thought.
Finally, however, the 2 stars we still awarded.

The staff there were friendly and helpful - a ray of hope. - Location and potential: The site is located in beautiful surroundings and actually had everything to be a real highlight.NegativnoChanging operators: Continuity is disrupted by constant changes of operator and tenant. There also currently seems to be a lack of clear and competent management. - Reception & management: While the staff at reception were friendly, the presumed operator, Mr. König, in particular was extremely negative. His reaction to a billing problem was both unprofessional and rude - despite our attempts to solve the problem objectively. It was almost as if he was trying to distract us from his own mistakes by publicly portraying us as "troublemakers". - Sanitary facilities: OK, but clearly in need of renovation. Cleaning doesn't keep up well during busy periods. - Facilities & infrastructure: - The indoor pool is rather small and in a basic condition - we don't feel that charging €7 entry for this is justified. - The sauna is also very modest. - Some of the fresh water points are a long way away and the 6 amp power connection is outdated.Campsite with great potential - but unfortunately many weaknessesEvaluation & conclusion:
The fact that the campsite rates itself with 4 stars is incomprehensible from our point of view - especially in view of the weaknesses in administration, facilities and infrastructure. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right.
With a heavy heart, we have decided... not to come back for the time being under the current circumstances.
What a pity - this place deserved much more. We hope that the numerous critical feedbacks will eventually lead to positive changes.

Unfortunately, it was quite outdated. The toilet seat was broken, the slats in the bed fell out every time we turned. Boards were placed under the mattress to stabilize it, which stuck out to the side and you could hurt yourself on them. The cleaning beforehand was not very thorough.

Not a very warm welcome. Nothing explained. Although the place was pretty empty, the few guests were packed into one spot. No option of an upgrade or choice of pitch offered. The supermarket was partially closed contrary to the posted opening hours. The... lake is not really suitable for lingering and can only be reached via narrow paths.
Sanitary facilities clean.
The indoor pool is old but well heated and clean. On arrival we were not told that it was broken. When we wanted to visit the sauna the next day we were told that it would not be repaired until the weekend. When we pointed out that we would then leave beforehand and wanted a pro... rata refund of the stand fee, this was denied with reference to the terms and conditions. We were given a very nice and friendly welcome at reception and the site was explained to us and where the wash houses, kiosk and so on are.
We were also given a list to order bread rolls
The pitch itself was very large
The wash house... number 1 was very clean and tidy electricity and showers were included in the price
The small supermarket had a good selection of drinks and various camping items everything was very nice and friendly
As we are dog owners it was important to us that dogs were welcome
That was the case
They had enough waste garbage cans with dog dispensers
The restaurant and the staff were also very nice and friendly

Unfortunately, I have to write a few things about our mobile home that are more bad than good.
1. the lighting on the terrace and in the living area was defective
2. the window catches on almost all the windows were defective or loose
3. the mosquito window catches were defective
4. the... cover of the fuse box was defective and simply lying next to it
5. there were dead mosquitoes on the walls and ceilings from the previous tenants. I also cleaned up the ones we killed, I think that's the right thing to do
6. the beach is not in good condition, we were briefly in the water with our feet and then we always drove to the large beach a few kilometers away. The beach was covered in excrement and very small.
7. we had two days of bad weather and after we had played a lot of board games we wanted to watch TV, this did not work in good weather and certainly not in bad weather, signal strength 45%, urgently needs to be reset
8. cell phone reception was not really there (neither Vodafone nor T-mobil), and I don't even want to start with the WLAN.
We were very frugal and tried to make the best of it with two small children.
Maybe we'll get some money back...

There was spack and mold in every shower. We have no problem with it being old but it should be clean. The entrance area where the groundskeeper has his things doesn't look nice either.
