We’ve been going there for several years now, and we’ve never been disappointed or had a bad experience. Many campers complain about the adjacent highway, which might be a bit of a nuisance at times (but it’s not the Demmel family’s fault that there are idiots who think... they’re on a racetrack). P.S. It’s never bothered us personally. As far as the operators and the campground are concerned, there’s absolutely nothing to complain about. It would just be nice if certain (not all) guests would follow the rules and dispose of their trash in the designated bins instead of just tossing it into the hedges or bushes! We really enjoy going there and always look forward to returning.

The street right in front was even worse, because every guest who drove in or out, walked their dog, rode a bike, or just passed by our RV went right in front of us. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The menu might be a bit too limited for some, but for us it offered enough variety for two weeks. The lake is beautiful and perfect for swimming.
The gravel campsites in front of the gate aren’t quite as nice, but they’re no problem for a night or two.
However, we have to give it some negative points for the restrooms.... The shower was good, but unfortunately the ventilation was poor, and there was often a shortage of toilet paper and soap.

Whether you’re at the swimming lake, enjoying coffee and cake in the afternoon, or having pizza on-site in the evening.
The owners are super friendly and always willing to listen, even during the busy arrival period....
The restroom facilities were clean and well-maintained.
For the kids, there’s a small indoor play area and a petting zoo.
The shore of the Stallauer Weiher is nice and shallow, so even younger children can easily get into the water there. There are two boat ramps and the option to rent a SUP.

Silvia and Seppi are super nice and hardworking owners who are always around and always have a funny quip ready, even when things get a little hectic.

The only downside in the small restroom building is that there’s no physical separation between the toilet area and the shower/sink area. As a result, the smells and noises from the toilet area spread unpleasantly throughout the entire room.
The bread roll service... is also very good. Perhaps guests with sites on the lakeshore should be informed in advance that there are grass snakes and countless little frogs there. Almost every day, we had up to five grass snakes basking in the sun right behind our trailer.
