The Demmelhof has a very nice swimming lake which you can also use for small boat trips and fishing. The place is very child-friendly there are playgrounds and also rooms to play for the kids and there is also a small petting zoo. There is much more that could be listed but then it would be a novel.

Our vacation time went by far too quickly at the campsite.

This is a good place to get angry

It remains for us an unforgettable vacation on the CP Demmelhof, because it was the 1st camping vacation which we have canceled, because you do not feel comfortable there in any way. When we booked we were told that the pitches are not parceled out and that you can take as much space as you need. That was the reason why we booked the pitch. The reality was that we had a pitch of about 40 square meters at our disposalMr. Demmel told us on departure, when we checked out, that the pitches are parceled out and have a size of 7x6m. What is true now, we will never know!!! In any case, the boundaries of the pitches are not visible. In the lower area of the campsite, where the operators still have to agree whether these pitches are parceled out or not and where we also stood, there is a gravel area lined with large and small stones. Especially when it rains, a lot of puddles form and you have running water through your awning or under the awning, so that you really sit in the mud, as the gravel surface is also very patchy. Nowadays, country lanes are of a better quality than this pitch area. Furthermore, you have to stand on the pitch as the boss specifies, here the nose factor also plays a role, e.g. we were not allowed to stand parallel to the lake with our Womo 6.95m while other Womos were allowed to do so. But this may be because Mr. Demmel knows exactly where storms and winds occur. Because we were not allowed to stand parallel to the lake due to the sudden storms and gusts of wind, otherwise our awning would have flown away despite the taut storm lines. According to Mr. Demmel, most campers don't know that if you secure awnings and awnings with storm straps, storm straps don't hold. Our awning and our awning have already survived several storms with storm straps attached. Perhaps Mr. Demmel should first gain some camping experience himself before advising experienced campers in this regard, at least that makes sense in my opinion. Mobile phone reception is very poor or non-existent on the campsite, internet has to be purchased for €2 a day and did not work. Mr. Demmel says it can't be, he comes by and helps with logging in, they are still waiting for him today. Mrs. Demmel says there is an electronic defect and the electrician won't come overnight. Maybe the two of them should sit down together and discuss what to tell the customers, because they don't speak the same language when it comes to problems but contradict each other if you talk to them separately, so at least we could laugh on the CP from time to time. Furthermore, the sanitary facilities were dirty during our stay and the site looked unkempt, e.g. lawn very high barrier tape stretched around occupied pitches, simply horrible. The main road on the other side of the lake is within earshot and very loud, especially during the day during rush hour. If you want peace and quiet, you are definitely in the wrong place on this campsite. We broke off our vacation after 4 days, of course we had to pay the full price on departure. The photos on the campsite homepage look very nice, but the reality is different. In the lower pitch area, especially on the last two pitches, there are currently several snakes in the stone wall / bank reinforcement, we counted 4. They didn't crawl across our pitch, but if you don't like snakes, you've come to the wrong place. The operators are not responsible for this problem, but I at least wanted to mention it. It seems to me that the operators are only focused on profit, but that's my personal opinion. The operators came across as arrogant, rude and unable to deal with criticism. Therefore once Demmelhof never again Demmelhof

The Demmel family was always there for us with heart and humor. The campsite is beautiful, clean and well organized. The bathing lake is right on the doorstep with its own jetty. The small tavern at the reception invites you to have a coffee in the morning with the best panorama. In the evenings you can enjoy Bavarian beer or other drinks there. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is informal. The sanitary facilities are very clean.

The only disadvantage: the toilets are a bit far away from the campsite, which is not really dramatic, but a toilet would be a great advantage.

Great place, absolutely nice and competent team, friendly welcome, here effort is put on cleanliness and that the guest can feel comfortable. We would love to come back. Lg Stefan and Carmen Highly recommended
