This was our seventh visit to the Strukkamphuk campground, and every time we’re thrilled to see how it keeps improving—new wash houses are being built, the grounds are being expanded or redesigned, and the playgrounds are constantly being upgraded. The... staff is super friendly and the prices remain stable—very few campgrounds can claim that. Electricity, water, sewage, and showers are also still included in the price. This year, we set out from Bern for Rügen to explore the island. After a week, we decided to head to Fehmarn Strukkamphuk after all, because crossing the Fehmarnsund Bridge feels just like coming home. Once again, we secured a large, comfortable spot right behind the dike and were able to enjoy the lovely evenings at the beach bar.

The campsite right next to the playground was ideal.
The water sports area and the beach bar were great for combining kitesurfing with the whole family.
Everything was super clean, and there were even family bathrooms with a baby bathtub for our youngest.

It’s a very beautiful place, with a strong focus on water sports. But cyclists, leisure seekers, and “regular” guests will also be able to enjoy their vacation on Fehmarn.

The site itself is very well-maintained; various maintenance tasks are carried out daily. The very friendly and helpful staff ensure that the site remains clean and quiet, without making you feel like you’re being watched.
The restroom facilities are... exemplary and always clean. One advantage is that the facilities are cleaned at night, so they can be used continuously throughout the day.
It’s also no problem to walk to Büsum. During peak season, biking is only allowed below the dike, so you can take a peaceful stroll along the dike without being disturbed.
The entire surrounding area also makes a very good, clean impression.

Maybe they could add a small agility course for all the dogs.Top spot!The campground is located in the southern part of the island and is easily accessible. You can check in ahead of time, so you can drive right through the gate to your reserved and prepaid site. Electricity, water, and sewage, as well as the showers, are included. Pitch Category IV is very spacious and... perfectly located. The new washhouse is on par with a 5-star hotel. The small supermarket on-site offers the essentials. The restaurant, however, is nothing special. The campground is beautifully landscaped and extremely clean. A fitness center, sauna, and yoga classes are also offered free of charge. Dogs are welcome, and guests without dogs seem to be the exception rather than the rule. There are plenty of walking paths for dogs.
