Great place
Strukkamphuk is a great campground. Everything is modern and clean, and the individual sites are really spacious. For kids and the young at heart, there’s a great playground, a soccer field, a huge inflatable play area, and ping-pong tables. Even when the campground is fully booked, everything is kept spotlessly clean. I highly recommend the campground restaurant. And the beach bar is really great.

Signage should consist of numbers only. A combination of letters and numbers would be helpful, especially for newcomers looking for the "H" spots. This feedback came from new guests.
Vacation
Great campground with kids' activities during the holidays and excellent restroom facilities.
All kinds of water sports are available. A fantastic beach bar for watching the sunset, with great cocktails and a selection of coffees.

A modern approach to site reservations, check-in, and payment. Free Wi-Fi at the site. Very few restrictions for dog owners, and of course, all the camping essentials are provided.

A campground that meets all your needs, with friendly staff and an atmosphere reminiscent of southern Europe—it’s the perfect place to relax. After 15 years, this was our third visit to Fehmarn and our second time at Strukkamphuk, and we haven’t regretted it.

The restaurant could be better
A very nice and friendly campground
A very beautiful and friendly campground. Right from the moment we checked in at the reception desk, we were greeted with great warmth and kindness—very nice people. The restroom facilities and the entire campground are well above 5-star standards; everything is very clean and well-maintained. The campsite... itself is truly top-notch, with a great location. There’s a beautiful sandy beach for swimming, which is also very well-maintained. We also had great fellow campers. All in all, we felt very comfortable and will be back next year—and every year after that... Highly recommended.

The kids' activities and the selection of bread rolls—no need to pre-order—were great.

Almost no shade, and the walk to the washhouses is very long. The plots aren't separated from one another, and everything is packed tightly together.
Unfortunately, it's crowded and there are almost only sunny spots with no shade
Overall, a very expensive campground on a small, rather rocky stretch of beach. If the campground had offered enough privacy and comfort, the price would have been acceptable; as it was, there were only sunny sites and the walks to the washrooms and the beach seemed to go on forever. Cleanliness and... the entertainment program were great, and the staff were always very friendly. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi didn’t cover the entire area and wasn’t consistently available. The rear restroom building—which didn’t have showers—had to serve the entire back area plus the tent field, and was unfortunately much too small with just 3 toilets and 3 sinks. The larger restrooms, on the other hand, scored points for having ample space, cleanliness, and books for families and children. Overall, I’d give the campground a 6 out of 10.

We take your comments about the shade, the paths to the wash houses and... the beach, as well as the small wash house in the back area, very seriously, and we’ll factor them into our planning. We’re also aware of the Wi-Fi issue, and we’ll keep working on it.

If there’s one thing that could be considered a drawback, it would be the lack of—or rather, the unreliable—Internet connection. However, we’re there on vacation, and it’s actually nice to just relax and take a break from the Internet. So from our perspective, it’s not really a drawback! ;-)
As always, a great vacation at Strukki
This was our fourth time at Strukkamphuk, and we'd go back again and again. That's why we've already made a reservation for next year. There's nothing to complain about.

Better, but still spotty Wi-Fi. No more radio in Washhouse 1. Too many speeders on e-scooters and (mini) e-motorcycles. It’s outrageous how recklessly riders of all ages race down the paths—sometimes two at a time on those speedy e-scooters.
Same procedure as every year
I’m not sure exactly how many years we’ve been coming to our favorite campground and our beloved island now.

Overall, everything was great—we really relaxed, and we had wonderful encounters with old and new friends.

I don’t want to say anything negative at all
The management and the groundskeeper,... Ingo, do everything they can to make sure everyone feels as comfortable as possible.

There are always weird people everywhere.
But: the issue of electric vehicles is clearly becoming more and more urgent.

Teens and kids riding two-up on an ESC scooter at high speeds,
and mini motorcycles (electric and ridden by little kids) are really annoying, because you’re just waiting for a crash to happen.

At the very least, organizers should establish a rule to address this.

On a lighthearted note, I’d like to mention that I sorely missed the NDR 2 radio station in washhouse number one.

Having a radio program playing in restroom stalls does help distract from certain background noises.

Still: full marks for Strukkamphuk, for Hinrich Muhl and his team!

Our reservation for 2027 is booked, and I don’t want to comment here on my current bouts of wanderlust.

Please excuse any spelling errors in this review, as I’m using voice input.

Addendum:

I’d especially like to give a shout-out to the entertainment team. They really go above and beyond at all times to ensure that children of all ages have a great time and that parents feel well taken care of.

One small downside—though the campground itself probably isn’t to blame—

The prices at the Edeka store on the campground are getting more outrageous every year:

Charging €1.50 for a single apple borders on extortion.
Charging three euros for an avocado is outrageous.
Charging €2.20 plus a €0.25 deposit for a can of beer (Astra, 0.5 l) is the last straw.

We take the issue with e-scooters and mini-motorcycles very seriously—you’re right about that. Safety on... the paths comes first, so we’ll take another close look at that. We’ll also add the radio in Waschhaus 1 (NDR 2—with a wink 😄) and the Wi-Fi to our list.

We’re more than happy to pass along your praise for the entertainment team—that’s exactly what we strive for. And we hear you about the Edeka prices; we’ll pass that along as well, even though we as a campsite have little influence over that ourselves.

Getting a perfect score from you really means a lot to us—Hinrich and the whole team are thrilled. See you in 2027—we’re already looking forward to it!

The Strukkamphuk Campground is great!
The sites are spacious, with connections for wastewater, electricity, and drinking water. The large wash houses are extremely well-maintained and clean, and superbly equipped!
The proximity to the water is great. There’s a wide range of recreational activities—from crafts and sports (yoga, Pilates, gym,... soccer) to trampolines, saunas, bingo, and more—so there’s something for everyone!
The kids were busy and on the go all day! Bringing bikes is a definite plus!
The dog beach is also within easy walking distance, and there are even special dog showers! The beach bar is cozy and serves delicious cocktails.
You can get fresh rolls at the on-site supermarket.
A great campground for families—and their four-legged friends, too. Clean, tidy, and quiet despite the many guests.

Strukkamphuk Campground
For us, this is the best campground on Fehmarn—and there’s nothing more to say.
The cleanliness, location, and friendliness at this campground are definitely worth a full 5 stars in our book.
We’ve stayed at this campground many times and have never been disappointed. It’s definitely worth the trip.

A Great Family Vacation
We had a wonderful 16-day family vacation at the Strukkamphuk campground.

We place a high value on modern and clean restrooms, which we found here. The other facilities, such as the restaurant, supermarket, etc., didn’t disappoint us either. The staff at the front desk always responded to every inquiry... with a friendly answer.

Our 8-year-old daughter had a lot of fun with the wide range of activities; she especially enjoyed making her own teddy bear. We also enthusiastically took advantage of the sports activities for adults.

At the beach bar, we took the opportunity a few times to wind down at the end of the day or grab a quick snack. On the weekends, there was nice live music either at the beach bar or at Boat Dock 1, which ended in good time before bedtime.

All in all, a great first stay at Strukkamphuk. We’ll definitely be back.

A beautiful campground with a variety of sites; we had large sites with trees. Modern facilities, everything was clean. Good recreational and sports activities. Nice, spacious restroom buildings

The beach could be nicer—it’s not very big and is partly rocky—and unfortunately, there’s a pigeon infestation in the trees on the grounds, and they’re pooping all over everything underneath… Some of the paths are long because of the size of the grounds

Like every year, we had a wonderful week here. This year, I was here with my daughter and two grandchildren. The older one took a surfing class, and we really enjoyed the great playgrounds and the surrounding area. We’d love to come back.

A really beautiful place, with very clean restrooms and showers, and lots of sports activities, from fitness to Pilates and yoga. The surf school is right on the premises—what a luxury. The supermarket is well-stocked, and the restaurant serves great fish sandwiches. So, as always, everything was absolutely wonderful. A big thank you to all the hardworking staff who help make us feel so at home here.
