The site was full, but they still found a place for our van. All the staff are very friendly.
It was much quieter now. During the day it was warm in summer, but at night it got quite chilly. We hiked once to the glacier and another time to the Boval hut. Pascal v.júl 2022PozitivnoThe incredibly fantastic location surrounded by mountains and ibexesNegativnoI can't report anything negativeFantastic locationI noticed that the campsite is divided into 2 areas. One is the more central area near the reception and the more secluded pitches near the river. The rear pitches are really in a fantastic natural setting. Nevertheless, the most necessary facilities (sanitary facilities and washing-up area) are within... walking distance. The front pitches are quite beautiful and also offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
There is a small store where the essentials are available. There are fresh bread rolls in the morning! Guys, try the marzipan croissants!
If you like hiking, climbing or biking, this is the place for you.

The road was not perceptible. There is a bus stop at the campsite turn-off and (at least in winter 21/22) a free bus/train ticket from the campsite host.
The camping area is located in a predominantly sparse tree population... and is criss-crossed by individual small streams. In combination with an informal parcelling out, the site has a very natural feel.
The reception is located in a small camping shop. The reception was very friendly.
There are two sanitary facilities, of which the one near the shop is open in winter. At least this facility is very modern and sober-architecturally designed. The rooms are warm and clean and the showers are spacious. The only thing we missed was a hairdryer.

The campsite is also well maintained in winter and has everything you need. Very nice, new, clean toilets and showers and a cozy restaurant. We will be back in March and possibly again in the summer. Highly recommended.NegativnoWhat is somewhat disadvantageous is that the second toilet facility is not operated in winter. As the campsite is at a very high altitude (2000m), it is relatively cool even in summer, especially at night. The site is very spacious and has no fixed pitches. There are pitches right by the small lake, in the forest in the sun, by the river... There is something to suit every taste. With the many streams and lakes, you can really unwind and feel like you're in paradise. Every pitch is different and natural. The infrastructure is excellent. Better W-LAN coverage would be desirable. Unfortunately, the lower sanitary building is getting on... in years and should be renovated or renewed. I didn't like going there anymore. The upper sanitary building, on the other hand, is great. The restaurant is good, unfortunately we were disappointed with the pizzas.
