Tanja S.mayo 20265.0Tanja S.mayo 2026VentajasThe campsite is nestled in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Engadin. The two owners run it with a lot of heart. No matter where you stand, the view is always great.DesventajasThe upper wash house is great, the others are clean but could definitely do with a little freshening up.More camping feeling is not possibleWe were there for the first time in August 2025. The site was full, but they still found a place for our van. All the staff are very friendly.
It was much quieter now. During the day it was warm in summer, but at night it got quite chilly. We hiked once to the glacier and another time to the Boval hut. But you can also just hang your hammock in the trees, make yourself comfortable and enjoy the rushing of the streams.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 4.0RKRosemarie K.junio 20244.0RKRosemarie K.junio 2024VentajasNice reception at the reception desk everyone makes a lot of effort and is super friendly Beautifully located pitches, always have a cable reel with you but it is also well described on the online reservation where the pitches are located Dog friendly Bread roll service nice restaurant, think about the prices 2 x coffee and cake 20,00Franken approx. 22,00 €DesventajasActually nothing negative, except: possibly a sanitary building would need to be renovated. More electricity boxes no light in the evening, solar lamps would be an alternative Always on the move with a flashlightBeautifully situated campsite in the Engadinthe nature around is really great, so much nature
small lake and the mountains
Morteratsch glacier can be reached by bike

Pascal v.julio 20225.0Pascal v.julio 2022VentajasThe incredibly fantastic location surrounded by mountains and ibexesDesventajasI can't report anything negativeFantastic locationI noticed that the campsite is divided into 2 areas. One is the more central area near the reception and the more secluded pitches near the river. The rear pitches are really in a fantastic natural setting. Nevertheless, the most necessary facilities (sanitary facilities and washing-up area) are within... walking distance. The front pitches are quite beautiful and also offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
There is a small store where the essentials are available. There are fresh bread rolls in the morning! Guys, try the marzipan croissants!
If you like hiking, climbing or biking, this is the place for you.
We'll be back!

Jörn L.febrero 20225.0Jörn L.febrero 2022Ventajas-great location with a beautiful view of the mountains -natural site design -clean, warm and modern sanitary facilitiesDesventajasnoneBeautiful locationThe site is located in a very beautiful valley below the Bernina Pass road. The road was not perceptible. There is a bus stop at the campsite turn-off and (at least in winter 21/22) a free bus/train ticket from the campsite host.
The camping area is located in a predominantly sparse tree population... and is criss-crossed by individual small streams. In combination with an informal parcelling out, the site has a very natural feel.
The reception is located in a small camping shop. The reception was very friendly.
There are two sanitary facilities, of which the one near the shop is open in winter. At least this facility is very modern and sober-architecturally designed. The rooms are warm and clean and the showers are spacious. The only thing we missed was a hairdryer.
We were particularly impressed by the location and design of the campsite and will certainly visit it again in the summer.Traducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración. - 5.0HRHans Rudolf K.agosto 20215.0HRHans Rudolf K.agosto 2021VentajasOne-time installationDesventajaseverything was good, no disadvantages foundUnique placeVery friendly and helpful staff

The site is in a brilliant location and beautifully designed. The campsite is also well maintained in winter and has everything you need. Very nice, new, clean toilets and showers and a cozy restaurant. We will be back in March and possibly again in the summer. Highly recommended.DesventajasWhat is somewhat disadvantageous is that the second toilet facility is not operated in winter. Would be a bit easier for the remote pitches.Beautiful campsiteWe tried winter camping for the first time in February at Camping Morteratsch. - 5.0MMMarco M.septiembre 20205.0MMMarco M.septiembre 2020VentajasFantastic location, natural surroundings, top infrastructure, offers and information, close to the train, gnocchi al pesto, no crowds, spacious pitchesDesventajasThe departure - I would have loved to stay longer.A pearlSituated in a wild valley, Camping Morteratsch is a real gem. Whether you want to climb or hike in the mountains or simply explore the surrounding area, it's hard to beat its beauty. A top infrastructure including an excellent on-site restaurant, sensibly laid out pitches and supply/disposal stations make camping a pleasure and the operators and their staff make the site my personal favorite.Traducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración.
- 5.0AWAlexandrs W.agosto 20205.0AWAlexandrs W.agosto 2020VentajasGreat location, quiet, very clean sanitary facilities, clean grounds, top hiking areaDesventajasUnfortunately only bookable for 7 nights. Too few power columns available. Advantageous if you have a long cable reel with you. Too few water columns available for fetching water.Super campsiteWe were lucky enough to have the pitch right by the small lake. Therefore great location and quiet. If you like wild camping, nature without the hustle and bustle then the place is highly recommended! We will definitely be back.Traducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración.
- 1.0DGDaniel G.julio 20201.0DGDaniel G.julio 2020VentajasBasically a beautiful location and a great region for all kinds of activities.DesventajasCompletely overpopulated, pitches and tents in every little corner. Inflexible regarding early departure (even for special events), payment for the entire reserved period is required. This is especially true in the high season, when people queue for a pitch every day.Absolutely overratedSee pros/cons above. Basically nice stay in the region but disappointed from the campsite.Traducido automáticamente.3 campistas encontraron útil esta valoración.

- 5.0MKManuel K.julio 20195.0MKManuel K.julio 2019VentajasNo permanently allocated plots very naturalDesventajascan also get relatively cool in summer (if anyone bothers)simply beautifulone of my favorite campsites. As the campsite is at a very high altitude (2000m), it is relatively cool even in summer, especially at night. The site is very spacious and has no fixed pitches. There are pitches right by the small lake, in the forest in the sun, by the river... There is something to suit every taste. The perfect location for hiking, mountain biking, climbing and via ferrata!Traducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración.

Hans-Joachim K.junio 20195.0Hans-Joachim K.junio 2019VentajasBeautiful landscape, good infrastructure, friendly hosts and staffDesventajasElectricity boxes, no W-LAN, lower sanitary building no longer pleasantIdyllic place with a feel-good atmosphereWe always enjoy coming back to this place. With the many streams and lakes, you can really unwind and feel like you're in paradise. Every pitch is different and natural. The infrastructure is excellent. Better W-LAN coverage would be desirable. Unfortunately, the lower sanitary building is getting on... in years and should be renovated or renewed. I didn't like going there anymore. The upper sanitary building, on the other hand, is great. The restaurant is good, unfortunately we were disappointed with the pizzas. The base was quite hard and you had to look for the ham on the pizza.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 5.0HKHeike K.mayo 20195.0HKHeike K.mayo 2019VentajasPure nature, nothing more is possible.
