André D.Eylül 20265.0ADAndré D.Eylül 2026Olumlu yanlarıA stunning location surrounded by nature; small streams meander between some of the campsites • A small lake practically right outside the front door. Swimming is possible, though the water is quite cool. • A chic little restaurant right on the grounds • Modern, renovated restroom facilities that have everything you could want • A small shop at the front desk with all the essentials; fresh bread rolls are available in the morning (be sure to try the baguettes—they’re super delicious!) • A small playground for kids; otherwise, plenty of nature to explore • Dogs are welcomeOlumsuz yanlarıOur parking spot didn't have its own electrical box. Instead, a cable that had been haphazardly patched up with electrical tape was coming out of the ground. That didn't inspire much confidence and needed to be fixed as soon as possible.Camping in NatureAn incredibly great campground set in a stunning natural setting. Streams, a lake, and mountains right outside the gate, plus excellent amenities, including a restaurant, a store, and top-notch restrooms. Ideal for families and dog owners. Aside from the makeshift electrical hookup at our site, everything was a complete success. Highly recommended!Otomatik olarak çevrildi.Henüz hiçbir kampçı bu derecelendirmeyi faydalı bulamadı. Tanja S.Mayıs 20265.0Tanja S.Mayıs 2026Olumlu yanlarıThe campsite is nestled in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Engadin. The two owners run it with a lot of heart. No matter where you stand, the view is always great.Olumsuz yanlarıThe upper wash house is great, the others are clean but could definitely do with a little freshening up.More camping feeling is not possibleWe were there for the first time in August 2025. The site was full, but they still found a place for our van. All the staff are very friendly.
It was much quieter now. During the day it was warm in summer, but at night it got quite chilly. We hiked once to the glacier and another time to the Boval hut. But you can also just hang your hammock in the trees, make yourself comfortable and enjoy the rushing of the streams.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.Henüz hiçbir kampçı bu derecelendirmeyi faydalı bulamadı. More electricity boxes no light in the evening, solar lamps would be an alternative Always on the move with a flashlightBeautifully situated campsite in the Engadinthe nature around is really great, so much nature
small lake and the mountains
Morteratsch glacier can be reached by bike
you can easily walk to Morteratsch train station
not far to the Bernina Pass

Pascal v.Temmuz 20225.0Pascal v.Temmuz 2022Olumlu yanlarıThe incredibly fantastic location surrounded by mountains and ibexesOlumsuz yanlarıI can't report anything negativeFantastic locationI noticed that the campsite is divided into 2 areas. One is the more central area near the reception and the more secluded pitches near the river. The rear pitches are really in a fantastic natural setting. Nevertheless, the most necessary facilities (sanitary facilities and washing-up area) are within... walking distance. The front pitches are quite beautiful and also offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
There is a small store where the essentials are available. There are fresh bread rolls in the morning! Guys, try the marzipan croissants!
If you like hiking, climbing or biking, this is the place for you.
We'll be back!

Jörn L.Şubat 20225.0Jörn L.Şubat 2022Olumlu yanları-great location with a beautiful view of the mountains -natural site design -clean, warm and modern sanitary facilitiesOlumsuz yanlarınoneBeautiful locationThe site is located in a very beautiful valley below the Bernina Pass road. The road was not perceptible. There is a bus stop at the campsite turn-off and (at least in winter 21/22) a free bus/train ticket from the campsite host.
The camping area is located in a predominantly sparse tree population... and is criss-crossed by individual small streams. In combination with an informal parcelling out, the site has a very natural feel.
The reception is located in a small camping shop. The reception was very friendly.
There are two sanitary facilities, of which the one near the shop is open in winter. At least this facility is very modern and sober-architecturally designed. The rooms are warm and clean and the showers are spacious. The only thing we missed was a hairdryer.
We were particularly impressed by the location and design of the campsite and will certainly visit it again in the summer.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.1 kampçı bu derecelendirmeyi faydalı buldu. - 5.0HRHans Rudolf K.Ağustos 20215.0HRHans Rudolf K.Ağustos 2021Olumlu yanlarıOne-time installationOlumsuz yanlarıeverything was good, no disadvantages foundUnique placeVery friendly and helpful staff

İlk Sen ol! - 5.0MBMorena B.Şubat 20215.0MBMorena B.Şubat 2021Olumlu yanlarıWe tried winter camping for the first time in February at Camping Morteratsch. The site is in a brilliant location and beautifully designed. The campsite is also well maintained in winter and has everything you need. Very nice, new, clean toilets and showers and a cozy restaurant. We will be back in March and possibly again in the summer. Highly recommended.Olumsuz yanlarıWhat is somewhat disadvantageous is that the second toilet facility is not operated in winter. Would be a bit easier for the remote pitches.Beautiful campsiteWe tried winter camping for the first time in February at Camping Morteratsch. - 5.0MMMarco M.Eylül 20205.0MMMarco M.Eylül 2020Olumlu yanlarıFantastic location, natural surroundings, top infrastructure, offers and information, close to the train, gnocchi al pesto, no crowds, spacious pitchesOlumsuz yanlarıThe departure - I would have loved to stay longer.A pearlSituated in a wild valley, Camping Morteratsch is a real gem. Whether you want to climb or hike in the mountains or simply explore the surrounding area, it's hard to beat its beauty. A top infrastructure including an excellent on-site restaurant, sensibly laid out pitches and supply/disposal stations make camping a pleasure and the operators and their staff make the site my personal favorite.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.1 kampçı bu derecelendirmeyi faydalı buldu.

Too few power columns available. Advantageous if you have a long cable reel with you. Too few water columns available for fetching water.Super campsiteWe were lucky enough to have the pitch right by the small lake. Therefore great location and quiet. If you like wild camping, nature without the hustle and bustle then the place is highly recommended! We will definitely be back.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.1 kampçı bu derecelendirmeyi faydalı buldu.
- 1.0DGDaniel G.Temmuz 20201.0DGDaniel G.Temmuz 2020Olumlu yanlarıBasically a beautiful location and a great region for all kinds of activities.Olumsuz yanlarıCompletely overpopulated, pitches and tents in every little corner. Inflexible regarding early departure (even for special events), payment for the entire reserved period is required. This is especially true in the high season, when people queue for a pitch every day.Absolutely overratedSee pros/cons above. Basically nice stay in the region but disappointed from the campsite.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.3 kampçı bu derecelendirmeyi faydalı buldu.

As the campsite is at a very high altitude (2000m), it is relatively cool even in summer, especially at night. The site is very spacious and has no fixed pitches. There are pitches right by the small lake, in the forest in the sun, by the river... There is something to suit every taste. Hans-Joachim K.Haziran 20195.0Hans-Joachim K.Haziran 2019Olumlu yanlarıBeautiful landscape, good infrastructure, friendly hosts and staffOlumsuz yanlarıElectricity boxes, no W-LAN, lower sanitary building no longer pleasantIdyllic place with a feel-good atmosphereWe always enjoy coming back to this place. With the many streams and lakes, you can really unwind and feel like you're in paradise. Every pitch is different and natural. The infrastructure is excellent. Better W-LAN coverage would be desirable. Unfortunately, the lower sanitary building is getting on... in years and should be renovated or renewed. I didn't like going there anymore. The upper sanitary building, on the other hand, is great. The restaurant is good, unfortunately we were disappointed with the pizzas. The base was quite hard and you had to look for the ham on the pizza.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.Henüz hiçbir kampçı bu derecelendirmeyi faydalı bulamadı.
