Great deals, friendly staff, and long store hours even though it's fall. We also appreciated the community bus service. The new restroom facility—which was new to us—turned out great; that's what vacation means to us.

The short walk to the beach bar and the dog-friendly beach is perfect. If you pay before you arrive, you just drive right onto the campground and you’re there. Everything is super easy, beautiful, and completely relaxing.

The only thing is that the location is a bit out of the way, and the restaurant isn't that great. Maybe they could add a small agility course for all the dogs.

Oh, there's so much to see—the playground for the kids, the laundry rooms, the kitchen—everything is so nice and clean. Everyone at the Edeka is very friendly, and the front desk is great, too. I really liked it—thank you so much ☺️

On the playground, by the boat ⛵, some of the planks are so damaged that children could get hurt on them.

For us, Strukkamphuk is one of the cleanest campgrounds we’ve visited so far. The friendliness of the staff at the campground also deserves high praise. The EDEKA supermarket on the grounds is really well-stocked and offers almost everything your heart desires.

The little restaurant on the square does have really good food, but as a guest, you often don’t feel like one at all and simply feel ignored when you want to order something else. They should work on that. Even though we’re dog owners ourselves, the barking this time was extremely bad. Sometimes there were 2–4 dogs on a single plot, and it really was very loud at times when you walked past them. It was very difficult to calm the dogs down. Sure, every dog is allowed to bark sometimes, but this time it was particularly intense because the owners had absolutely no control over their pets.

Many dogs whose owners don't know how to handle dogs. This refers to failing to prevent dogs from barking—sometimes continuously—and failing to comply with the leash law.

Everything was great and went smoothly. We were there with our trailer.

Just one small thing—on almost every plot, there was a little wet soil from the rain. Otherwise, everything was great. We'll be back.

The Internet Could Be Better, Slows Things Down

Plenty of space, great activities for kids and teens, the beach bar, the beach, and the ocean, very friendly and helpful staff, a variety of food trucks, the store, the surf school,

Unfortunately, the really great washhouses weren't as clean this year as they have been in previous years. The washhouse by the tent field, in particular, was very dirty. I’m not talking about the toilets and sinks—those were fine. Rather, I’m referring to cobwebs, dirty floors and walls, and swarms of mosquitoes in the restrooms and washrooms. In the latter case, the problem was addressed very quickly after I pointed it out—it was much better then, but it eventually got bad again. I also don’t understand why there are no showers in the washhouse at the tent field; the walk to the other washhouses is quite a long one.

The great location right behind the dike, just 3 minutes from the beach. The very clean restroom facilities and the shopping options at Edeka on the campground. The restaurant. The beautiful sites with grassy areas and good access paths. And last but not least, the lovely beach bar with delicious drinks and live music.

I haven't noticed any drawbacks. You have to expect wind depending on the location, and awnings that are extended should be secured with additional guy lines.

The campground has everything a family could want. We love coming back here again and again.

We love everything about this campground—the location, the surroundings, the restrooms, the kids' activities, the store, etc.

We've been coming to Strukkampkuk for many years, and as always, we've been very satisfied every time. The peace and quiet on the campground and the very well-maintained and always clean wash houses deserve special mention! clean

The campground restaurant doesn't live up to the overall quality of the campground and is more like a fast-food joint.
