There was/is a "no camping" sign there, which we didn't take very seriously as the entire parking area was empty at the time of our arrival and we wanted to check in the next morning anyway. The next day, the employee came before the actual opening hours of the campsite to take photos of us and another camper. After a short, extremely rude conversation, the employee referred us to her boss. At check-in, we explained the situation again and "exceptionally" no charges were filed. During our stay, we were "stupidly" spoken to again by the same employee about standing free. We will definitely not be back.Nearly received complaintActually quite a nice, modern, centrally located and clean campsite with all the infrastructure you need. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that your stay with us did not meet your expectations.
Please allow us to respond briefly to your description: In the entire municipal area, overnight stays outside officially designated areas - i.e. also in side streets - are prohibited... by the authorities. This regulation is monitored by the local police and we have been asked to document any infringements so that we can pass them on if necessary. Our aim is by no means to annoy our guests, but to inform them in good time so that unnecessary trouble and possible penalties can be avoided.
To prevent such situations, there are special arrival parking spaces with electricity right next to our reception. These are available for late arrivals when our reception is already closed. You can of course spend the night there and check in easily the next morning.
We are truly sorry that you found our colleague rude - this is not in line with our standards of service and hospitality. We will pass this feedback on internally.
Our manager took the time the next morning to discuss the situation with you personally and to explain that we simply cannot know whether someone wants to stay with us or not when staying overnight outside our resort. Of course, no charges were brought in your case - on the contrary, we simply wanted to make you aware of the existing regulations and help you to avoid possible trouble.
We regret that you did not feel comfortable, but hope that you were able to enjoy the rest of your stay. Perhaps we will be able to welcome you back at a later date - hopefully under more relaxed circumstances.

We are very pleased that you enjoyed many aspects of your vacation with us - especially the quiet location, the cleanliness and our team. The fact that you even stayed longer than planned is a nice compliment for us.
Regarding the... comments about the facilities: you are absolutely right - as our resort only opened last year, the planting is still under construction. Trees and shrubs need some time to provide shade, but a lot has already happened this season and we are constantly adding more greenery.
We also take feedback on the sanitary facilities seriously. There are currently no individual wash cubicles or family bathrooms, but they are already on our internal wish list for future extensions - always within the bounds of what is feasible, of course.
As far as pricing is concerned, we strive to find a good balance between quality, comfort and regional offerings - with spacious pitches, modern facilities and personal service. However, we also know that the perception of value for money is very individual and thank you for your honest feedback.
We hope you were able to discover the diversity of south-eastern Styria - perhaps we will see you again, then with even more greenery and further developments on the site.
