Michael H.August 2025PlusuriLocation, quiet, pitches super large and flatMinusuriDoors in the sanitary belong automatically, 1 soap dispenser for 6 washbasins is too little, in the enormously large shower cubicles hooks for hanging things are missing, unfortunately no hair dryer in the sanitary area, the taps are very short, removal of toilet paper very tedious, garbage collection area is visually not nice and was so crowded at the weekend that it looks rather messy Water connections on the pitch are too far down and everything is very overgrown with weedsEvaluation of our stayIt was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. The location, the pitches and the peace and quiet are perfect. But for perfection to a 5 star campsite we would have suggested a few important improvements.
The doors in the sanitary facilities should definitely be automatic.
The taps are far too short....
The removal of toilet paper is tedious.
Unfortunately, the soap dispenser was often empty. Perhaps too little available.
More coat hooks would be necessary in the showers.
There are no hairdryers in the ladies showers.
Access to the water supply at the pitch is difficult due to the weeds and the fact that the taps are mounted very low.
You couldn't even fill a water canister.
The garbage containers were also overflowing for 3 days. (Not an extended weekend).
We would appreciate it very much if you take the criticism.

Douches zijn groot en heerlijk, wc schoon. Echt een camping van alle gemakken voorzien easrbij het een mooie uitvalbadis is voor vele wandel-en fietstochten. Oja en je krijgt een speciale kasrt zodat openbaar vervoer. The service staff were always friendly, helpful and hard-working despite being overworked and short-staffed - a big compliment to the employees!
The... pool is too small for the number of guests and there are not enough sun loungers. Although there is a baby/children's pool, it is completely in the blazing sun and therefore unusable. The playground is very small and only suitable for very small children, there are no sports facilities such as a volleyball court or similar. The sanitary facilities were dirty and were cleaned far too rarely, garbage containers were overflowing and garbage was lying next to them. There is only one tiny changing table in the entire sanitary area. At breakfast, the coffee machine was broken and the pastries ran out quickly. The manager responded to justified complaints in a snotty and condescending manner instead of offering solutions.
The reason why we will definitely not be returning: The managers themselves. Guests were neither greeted in a friendly manner nor bid farewell - instead, we were repeatedly approached in a rude, disrespectful and sometimes condescending tone.
Friendliness and customer orientation are obviously a foreign concept here - and that's exactly what drives guests away. Everything is just right here.
The site is exceptionally well maintained, everything is new, high quality and designed with great attention to detail.
You notice immediately: this is not a campsite "like any other".
The pitches are spacious, the sanitary... facilities are modern and extremely clean. The pool with a view of the mountains is a real highlight - quiet, refreshing and simply beautifully situated.
However, the atmosphere deserves special mention. The campsite is run by the owners themselves - and you can feel this at every moment. The couple are always present, open, welcoming, take the time to talk to you and even look after things themselves. Everything feels personal, but never intrusive.
They even ask if everything is okay when serving bread rolls - small gestures that make a big difference.
The food completely surprised us: fresh, delicious and always to the point. Pizza, pasta, salads, desserts ... everything!
Plus a team that exudes good humor and is so helpful.
Conclusion: This place really can't be compared with any other. New, exceptionally well thought out, with genuine hospitality and great service.
We felt completely at ease from the very first moment - and will definitely be back.

In the adjoining store you will not only find food, but also important camping utensils. The Pyhrn-Priel Card issued upon registration is included in the total price and offers a variety of opportunities to get to know the immediate surroundings. The use... of all infrastructure (shuttle bus - directly in front of the campsite, mountain railroads, museums ...) is therefore included.
Unfortunately, due to the rainy weather and the brevity of our stay, we were unable to take advantage of all the facilities on offer, but we found that the pitches were well maintained.
Due to the weather, we had a stress-free and extended breakfast. The breakfast buffet offers something for every palate. Very nicely arranged, rich in flavor and definitely sufficient, this breakfast absolutely lives up to its price. The service staff are friendly, unobtrusive but always present.
The friendliness probably comes from the boss of the house. His composure and seemingly local cheerfulness brings a smile to every guest's face.
Despite the spacious hotel and restaurant block, you can feel a certain down-to-earthness in these rooms. You simply feel at home.
For us personally, the planned bike tour fell through, but the sunny window in the afternoon lured us to the heated pool. You don't find that at every campsite. It's great!
The facilities on site are extensive, such as an open campfire, children's playground and a wellness and sauna area.
We have found a place here to spend days together with our camping friends and will definitely be back.
