The restaurant: The staff is great, helpful, and the food is fantastic.
For us, this place is like coming home. It’s the perfect place to unwind. The petting zoo is wonderful. The... grounds are huge, and a new wave pool area is being built.
This was our third time there, and we’ll be back at the end of December.
It’s just sooo nice at Rainer’s.

Everything is clean, modern, and newly built. It’s just a perfectly ordinary campground in a beautiful setting. For the prices they charge here, I’d expect to be by a lake rather than in a valley. The only downside... in this case is the on-site restaurant, which didn’t impress us. Unfortunately, the Karoli Water Park—which was the reason we chose this campground—was closed for renovations during our stay, something we only found out once we got there. Most of the dogs there were better supervised and better-behaved.

A friend had already recommended it to us back when it was still a bit smaller and really only had a few campsites.
We’d booked a spot in the forest area, but switched to a “panoramic spot” after we arrived. It... was a good decision. A very large spot with a beautiful view and just an absolute sense of well-being.
Price-wise, it’s definitely on the higher end, especially since—aside from a pond—there aren’t really any great additional amenities at the moment. But it was fine, and we didn’t regret it. Construction is currently underway at the wellness center; overall, it’ll be interesting to see how the campground continues to develop on this vast property, which was once a golf course.
The restaurant is also worth recommending. Very delicious food. Just be sure to allow plenty of time when it’s busy—in my opinion, there aren’t enough staff members. The restaurant offers a bread roll service. Unfortunately, it doesn’t require advance ordering, so late risers—like me—hardly stand a chance of getting their hands on delicious croissants. I’d love to see an ordering service here.
All in all, a great place; we’ll be back. Our two dogs also felt very comfortable here and were treated very kindly everywhere we went. D.Iulie 2026Plusuri- wonderful baths - a really great restaurant - petting zoo - great playgroundMinusuri- Non-transparent electricity costs - No check-in lane; the parking lot was full upon arrival - The campsite is on gravel, just like a regular parking spaceKnown for GOGOWe’d heard about this campground through the YouTube channel “Gogo for Camper,” so we wanted to check it out. We booked it in March and arrived in July full of anticipation. The campground is unexpectedly located just around a bend—there could be better signage. We couldn’t see the sign because there’s... a parking area right in front of it—in the driveway, that is. Unfortunately, there was no check-in lane or anything like that. There were already a few RVs parked in front of the cars, so we couldn’t even drive into the lot. Check-in was friendly, though it took a while before it was our turn (no big deal). As for the site itself: it’s beautifully laid out in a terraced camping style. However, the paths in the “Comfort” section are really narrow, especially when cars are parked in front of the RVs. Without a mover, you shouldn’t choose a spot at the back. The sites are gravel. There’s a patch of grass in front of them. What we don’t quite like is that your caravan is right up against your neighbor’s, and you can look right into their window. There’s electricity, water, and wastewater disposal at the site. The disposal system for the chemical toilet is great. Everything is outdoors and easy to manage without any odor. The mid-level shower and toilet containers are worth their weight in gold. They’re wonderfully modern and simply fantastic. Unfortunately, there’s no place to dry your hands, and sometimes the soap and toilet paper have run out. We didn’t need the shower house on the hill at all, but it’s really nicely furnished, very spacious, and totally cozy and modern. A wellness oasis is currently under construction. It already looks very good on the blueprints. In the upper part of the campground, there’s a petting zoo and a great playground with little boats. Unfortunately, during our stay, it was quite noisy in the immediate vicinity in the morning—just like at a playground. The quiet was over by 7:30 a.m., but we had set up our tent extra far down the mountain. Ultimately, of course, this always depends on the campers. I can get that for less—or for the same price in a better location. An honest 4 stars from me.
