The interior of the captain's houses were very nice on the campsite with a fireplace and a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. The restaurant on the campsite "Land & Meer" was just great with the nice staff.
The campsite is beautifully situated a bit away from the resort of Grömitz.

WLAN didn't work in the pilot house, but everywhere else outside everywhere else on the campsite. At the Lotsenhaus it would be great if there was a possibility in the entrance area possibility to leave wet shoes and jackets in the entrance area without soiling the living area. Cereal bowls and a slightly larger vegetable knife are missing in the kitchen. the kitchen.
Escape from firecrackers and fireworks
The pilot house is superbly furnished and clean.
The campsite is well maintained and beautifully situated.

Friendly staff and guests.

We were there with our dog as he gets extremely panicked by firecrackers and fireworks. There were far fewer bangs before, on and after New Year's Eve than at home.... Due to the ban on firecrackers at the campsite, the noises were much further away and therefore quieter.
The dog was calmer than in previous years.

The metal stairs to the beach are a challenge for some dogs, but ours also managed to run down the side of the stairs to the beach.

The wide, unobstructed view of the Baltic Sea from our vacation home was a dream! The furnishings were functional and cozy There were even Christmas decorations on the tables The gas fireplace broke the first chill! Santa Claus even came on Christmas Eve! The sea grass at the house well placed! The whole thing was something (not only!) for the soul

Fantastic Christmas week in the Kapitänshaus!
We've been to this campsite 3 times so far and we've always loved it here! The wash houses, the restaurant and of course the landscape including the Baltic Sea! Only 2.5 hours away for us!
This time we rented a "captain's house", which we really liked! With an unobstructed view of the Baltic Sea! It was cold, but the sky was blue!!!!!!!

A successful stay!
We spent a long weekend at Ostseepark Walkyrien and it was a real stroke of luck. Not so much in terms of the weather, but what can you expect from November? A great chalet, modern and at the same time functionally equipped, the kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. The gas fireplace is sensational.... Comfortable beds. Large shower, a chic bathroom in general! The location in the first row to the cliffs was fantastic. You notice on many occasions that four-legged friends are really welcome, thank you for that! Everything is well organized, the park is well maintained despite the low season. We will definitely be back.

Dogs are really welcome here
Despite the lousy weather, we had 2 beautiful days. The cliffs and the Baltic Sea right outside the camper window. Dreamlike. There is a dog beach, which is really nice and big, and a free-range enclosure with agility. Our dog was more than happy. The restaurant on site is great and the service is very friendly. We would love to come back.

Super nice vacation
This was our second time in Valkyria in a captain's house and we were very satisfied. Ideal with a dog. The house with gas fireplace very cozy. We will definitely be back.

Relax in the fall
The campsite is in a very nice location. You have a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. We rented a small cottage. The houses are very well equipped, lovingly furnished and really cozy in November if you also turn on the great gas fireplace in the living room. We had great walks with our dog in the forest... and on the beach. The fenced-in dog area with agility equipment is just great. The restaurant at the campsite serves delicious meals and the staff are super friendly. We spent 2 wonderful, relaxing weeks at the campsite.

There is nothing to complain about
Pilot house LOH5 Valkyria
We have been there 4 times as a family with a dog and have always enjoyed it. The house is very comfortably furnished and clean. Everything you need in the kitchen is available. Sofa for 4 people is a bit small, but we made do. Shopping facilities on the square. Bread roll service. Restaurant. Wellness.... We did not make use of these. The playground for the children has been partially relocated since our last visit and has been built on the former dog area. New dog area towards the forest. As always, the horse, pony and goats are a highlight for children, especially the horse girl.
There is always a lot to discover in the area. Grömitz is definitely worth a visit. A lot has happened there over the years.
If you are not afraid to drive a few kilometers, you should visit the Schwentinental Wildlife Park. The zeiTTor museum in Neustadt in Holstein was also interesting.
Uncomplicated check-in/check-out.
So even though we've been to Walkyrien so often, we'll definitely be back.

The place and the accommodation were ok.

As our guest house (LH 11) was almost next to the forest, there was no internet. Coffee and cake was offered on a board for the afternoon, but there was none. The store only had the things that were there, nothing was reordered.
Rating
As we were only with them for three full days, there's not much I can say.
Except what is written in the disadvantages.
On the whole, everything was fine.

Beautifully laid out and clean campsite
A great place that we would definitely go to again. The location is great, the beach is within walking distance and can be reached in a few minutes, dog-friendly, nice and easy to deal with (booking, arrival/departure). An all-round successful vacation we had there!

Everything was great only the vacation was too short. You walk about 3 km along the beach to get to Grömitz, because unfortunately there is no paved road to get there.

Even if we were only allowed to relax for a week, we could do it here. No shouting, no cars constantly driving back and forth, really quiet to relax. The children had lots of opportunities to play, numerous playgrounds, bouncy castle, cinema and even horse riding on the campsite. In the evening we went to the nearby restaurant and had a delicious meal with nice people. We would love to come back :-)

We had a very nice beach house with a great location and view of the Baltic Sea. Comfortable furnishings and good room layout. We were most surprised by the large modern shower. And well thought-out storage space for your own things. Great campsite with lots of space. Playground also suitable for small children. Bread roll service worked well. Friendly staff (m/f) everywhere.

Beach access with small children and baby carriages very difficult or baby carriages have to be left at the top. Cycle path leads over the main road, as there is another campsite that does not allow the path.
Glamping vacation with 2 small children in a beach house with a total of 4 people
I was looking for a campsite under the term "glamping" and the campsite fully met our expectations. All the cars kept to a walking pace, so it was easy to move around with small children. Good layout of the site in terms of caravans, motorhomes, beach houses etc.

On 3 days we unfortunately had construction noise directly next to our mobile home due to a wheel loader - even during the midday rest
Very nice campsite
We booked the site at short notice because we wanted to see something different from our permanent campsite.
As we have 2 Bernese mountain dogs, we chose a mobile home with a fenced-in garden.
Since the houses are graded according to category - e.g. Lotzenhaus - but unfortunately not all Lotzenhaus have... a fence, we had to pay 50 euros extra for our desired house. It would be nice if the houses with a garden were an extra category, because then I wouldn't really care where the house was. Because for the dogs there is another 70 euros for 5 nights.
The site itself is very nicely laid out, very quiet, the staff are extremely friendly, the restaurant is super tasty - certainly a bit expensive for some - but it's worth it. Very friendly staff here too.
The bread roll service via the app is great, the rolls are delicious.
There is a fairly steep metal staircase down to the beach, which is not suitable for older people, people with walking difficulties or dogs.
However, it is a bit of a walk to the dog beach, 3 CP further on, so to speak. Old dogs have their difficulties with the long walk. But you have direct access to the beach, so no stairs.
The mobile home was clean, big enough for 2 people-4 people + child.
We with 2 people and 2 big dogs, who both have big dog beds - it was just enough. The kitchen has everything you need, including a dishwasher.
No extra costs for the mobile home, everything incl. electricity, garbage, final cleaning.
We felt very comfortable and will certainly come back again.
