We were there with our dog as he gets extremely panicked by firecrackers and fireworks. There were far fewer bangs before, on and after New Year's Eve than at home.... Due to the ban on firecrackers at the campsite, the noises were much further away and therefore quieter.
The dog was calmer than in previous years.

Friendly peopleNegativaThere is nothing to complain aboutPilot house LOH5 ValkyriaWe have been there 4 times as a family with a dog and have always enjoyed it. The house is very comfortably furnished and clean. Everything you need in the kitchen is available. Sofa for 4 people is a bit small, but we made do. Shopping facilities on the square. Bread roll service. Restaurant. Wellness.... We did not make use of these. The playground for the children has been partially relocated since our last visit and has been built on the former dog area. New dog area towards the forest. As always, the horse, pony and goats are a highlight for children, especially the horse girl.
There is always a lot to discover in the area. Grömitz is definitely worth a visit. A lot has happened there over the years.
If you are not afraid to drive a few kilometers, you should visit the Schwentinental Wildlife Park. The zeiTTor museum in Neustadt in Holstein was also interesting.
Uncomplicated check-in/check-out.
