Everything we needed for a great vacation was there. The kitchen was well equipped, the size of the house was appropriate and the beds were comfortable. The terrace with seating, beach chair and parasol was more than adequate. Fresh and tasty bread rolls... were available daily in the self-service market. The entire complex is well-kept and Nordic "hygge". You simply feel right at home. The beach is just a few steps away and the view from the cliffs is fantastic. Early risers can watch a fantastic sunrise. Everything makes you slow down - we could see rabbits and squirrels when we looked out of the window, it was quiet and peaceful. We only met friendly staff and all the guests seemed to be completely satisfied. The good atmosphere can be felt everywhere. On the last evening we ate in the restaurant and service is also very important there and the food and drinks were very tasty and of high quality. It was definitely not our last stay. When we travel to Valkyria with Matti, our three-year-old Labrador, we experience a conscious break from our usual rhythm. A time-out... that doesn't mean giving up responsibility - but a change of perspective that does us good.
As a provider of care staff for the home care of senior citizens, we always focus on the needs of our customers, the senior citizens we care for and the care staff - and this also applies during the vacation. That's why our work remains present, but it shifts to a different context.
Because it makes a noticeable difference whether we work in a traditional office - or move the office to the Admiral's Cottage in Valkyria. The view over the Baltic Sea gives us space to pause, reflect and recharge our batteries.

It is also close to the beach. The staff, especially in the restaurant, were very customer-friendly and attentive. The building site was a bit unsightly but quite tolerable. Some pitches even have a sea view.
It's a 5-minute walk to the beach, which can be reached via a metal staircase.
There are various activities for children on the way there, regardless... of whether the weather is good or bad!
There are playgrounds, a covered area with a bouncy castle and an indoor playroom.
There is also a fenced run with obstacles for dogs.
The sanitary buildings are modern and clean. However, you can only shower for 4 minutes, split into 30 seconds. That's enough, but too short for my taste.
The restaurant is highly recommended! Super tasty! There is a playground right next to it.
All the staff are very friendly!
