The supervisors are to be blamed for not keeping the night's rest. - Claudia K.augusts 2025PozitīviLarge campsite directly on the lakeNegatīvaisNo family shower / children's toiletwonderful short vacation - 4 days -It is a large, beautiful campsite. We had a pitch right behind the entrance, near the large playground and the children's entertainment area. (but that didn't bother us) We also had children with us. Electricity and water right on the pitch are just great. Not far to the sanitary area, the kids were... able to go to the toilet on their own (i.e. the older one yes, the little one unfortunately not, as we couldn't find a children's toilet).
The kids loved the big bouncy cushion - there was always a lot going on there. :-) - The sand playground with climbing frame; there was also a basketball hoop, a soccer pitch, table football and an activity house. And a large lake.
We only saw the water park from the outside as the kids didn't want to go in; maybe next time.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and the flowers are lovingly tended. Really very inviting and beautiful to look at.
The accommodation options such as small houses, wine barrels with and without bathrooms and large tents are really great, the green areas are very well maintained.
This will not be the last camping vacation on this site.

There should be a week or even more time. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible for us at the moment.... but maybe in the near future and once for the grape harvest

Even when it rained we could still sit outside as there was a small roof/sun sail. The bed was comfortable and there were dishes and cutlery available, which was great if you wanted to eat in between. It did get very cold in the... barrel at night but the blankets were warm. Nevertheless, a small heater would be useful. The breakfast was very simple (2 light rolls per person, jam, honey, liver sausage or vegetarian spread, fruit juice and tea or coffee) but sufficient. I would have liked to have had something healthy like fruit or a wholemeal roll. And unfortunately they can't cater for intolerances.
The campsite was very well maintained and had great facilities (entertainment, bar, food truck, small store, restaurant).
