The shore is a maximum of 100 m away from all pitches, and of course there are also pitches right by the water. You can choose between sunny, semi-shady and pitches under trees. We opted for a sunny pitch and didn't regret it. The sanitary facilities... are adequate and are cleaned twice a day. There is a restaurant right on the site, where a local bakery sells bread rolls etc. in the morning. There is a free shuttle bus from the campsite to Salzburg twice a week and to the Königsee once a week. The site is in a great location for cycling tours and hikes. The town of Waging is approx. 2.5 km away and offers both shopping and dining options. There are also plenty of activities for children. The campsite itself has a non-swimmer and swimmer area and a small playground right by the water. The Beeker family, the owners of the campsite, are extremely friendly. Very good location for excursions in... the surrounding area (Traunstein, Salzburg, Berchtesgaden-Königssee, Chiemsee, Rosenheim and even Munich can be reached without a car.
