Pure relaxation at Sonnensee
I love being at Sonnensee because I can relax there. It's good for me to enjoy the peace and quiet and nature. I like walking around the lake or on the barefoot path. At the end of my stay, I can go back to my everyday life feeling refreshed. A little idyll ☀️

Oasis of relaxation
Very well-kept naturist area in the middle of the "Altwarmbüchener Moorgebiet" with a large and clear bathing lake.
Here you can choose between several guest areas. All guest areas are located near one of the clean and well-kept sanitary blocks.
The site is the perfect place to relax and unwind, making it perfect for a vacation.

The best address in northern Germany for naturists. Everything here is just great: beautiful lake with crystal-clear water (SUP is also available). The 2 km long lake loop is great for jogging. Fruit trees everywhere and even herb spirals to pick your own herbs. Gastro with a view of the water in the evening.
We've been here several times and will be back. Simply beautiful :)

A naturist running paradise
2025 was the second time in a row that I was on the site with my "camper van", each time for the Naturist Run Days.

A very nice, large site, with a wonderfully clean large lake, which you can run around in a lap of 2-2.5 km, directly by the lake or in a slightly further arc partly through a fairly natural... forest (the so-called barefoot route).
There is a restaurant with a manageable range of food, bread rolls to order and I was quickly in the Hanover-Misburg district 7 km away by bike with extensive shopping facilities.

The team is very friendly and my stay was extremely relaxing. Despite the 340 km journey, I will probably be back a few more times.

Great naturist place near Hanover
This club-run naturist campsite is run with attention to detail. Mainly permanent campers. Three tourist areas available. Good and mostly modern sanitary facilities. Gastronomy with a varied offer on site. Crystal-clear large natural swimming pond in the middle of the site. Good sports facilities available. Excellent connections to Hanover (bicycle, light rail).

Unfortunately, there is no common room where you could stay in bad weather. It's always too cramped and uncomfortable in the tent.
Dream lake
The Sonnensee lake in the Misburger Wald forest in Hanover has been my destination for years. I enjoy the peace and quiet away from the big city. The site is so big that it takes 20 to 25 minutes to walk around the lake. There are also opportunities to go into the forest. My grandchildren can play here with other children and there are several playgrounds. Needless to say, swimming in the silky-soft water is a real treat.

Favorite place
The Sonnensee is my absolute favorite place, and also the one for my husband and my 15-year-old daughter. We had a beautiful and above all green pitch with lovely neighbors. The members and guests always had a smile and a cheerful "hello" on their faces. The sanitary facilities were always well maintained... and clean and despite the high season, they were never overcrowded.
We spent our days taking relaxing walks around the lake, swimming, stand-up paddle boarding (you could borrow one), beach volleyball and enjoying delicious meals in the club restaurant.
We were even able to get our sports badge 😃
My daughter immediately made friends with the youngsters and so she also enjoyed playing table football and chatting in the youth area and playing on the bouncy castle.
There is a great playground and adjacent children's beach for the little ones.
Thank you for this great vacation, we will definitely be back to our favorite place ♥️

It is a beautiful place to feel good, you can go shopping everywhere after a short drive, you can relax and unwind in the peace and quiet, you can take beautiful walks, we go there every year for at least 14 days.

A very nice naturist campsite right on the lake. We have been going there at least once a year since 2020 to relax for 14 days. The surrounding area can be explored by bike or car. There are also many stores for shopping in the area. Simply a nice place to feel good

The Sonnensee in Misburg has everything to offer for an annual family get-together with grandchildren, children and grandparents: Water sports and fun in the best water quality water quality, large play and sports areas on the camping site, hiking trails around the lake and into a small the Sonnensee Lounge with a changing menu, sports and entertainment programs for all age groups - there is something for all generations! n thought of!

A place to recharge your batteries
Enjoying nature and tranquillity at Sonnensee is a dream! There you can unwind and recharge your batteries . The staff are very courteous and friendly. If you want you can do your sports badge there. A highlight is the annual naturist run! The sanitary facilities were cleaned daily, the guest pitches are always easily accessible and large. We like to go there again and again. !!!

Please note that the Warschauer Allee (A2) is within earshot. However, this should hardly bother visitors from urban areas.
Nice team, well-kept place
We (a couple from Dresden) were very warmly welcomed. The site is in great condition and we were able to take advantage of facilities such as the sauna and restaurants. Now in May, when no bathing weather was to be expected, we were still able to enjoy the warm sunshine on our pitch.
The site is very... spacious and invites you to take relaxing walks. The sanitary facilities are super modern and clean, the club members proudly represent their site and their attitude to naturism, we had many nice encounters. The harmony between nudity and nature is lived intensively, environmental protection is a top priority.
We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

Natural paradise near the city
For six years now, we have regularly spent time out all year round with our motorhome on the summer meadow at Sonnensee. An idyllic natural paradise for naturists with a great lake for swimming, paddling and SUP. The lovingly designed site with many sports facilities, very clean and modern sanitary facilities,... a restaurant with culinary specialties and bread service (high season) and with a super nice team and great guests and permanent campers inspires us again and again. Wellness facilities such as a sauna and singing bowl massage are also available. You can also easily reach the city center of Hanover by bike or the city train from Misburg. Numerous shopping facilities and restaurants can be found directly in Misburg, approx. 2 km away.

Large square with a large lake that invites you to go suping. You can be in the city center of Hanover in a good 30 minutes. The club members are super nice and helpful - you feel welcome

A great campsite with old trees and a large lake. The sanitary facilities are clean and the guest pitches are well maintained. Since the site is close to the highway, the highway noise could be a bit annoying in the front area. The rear pitches offer a quieter atmosphere
