Unpaved paths very muddy in wet weather.Natural paradise near the cityFor six years now, we have regularly spent time out all year round with our motorhome on the summer meadow at Sonnensee. An idyllic natural paradise for naturists with a great lake for swimming, paddling and SUP. The lovingly designed site with many sports facilities, very clean and modern sanitary facilities,... a restaurant with culinary specialties and bread service (high season) and with a super nice team and great guests and permanent campers inspires us again and again. Wellness facilities such as a sauna and singing bowl massage are also available. You can also easily reach the city center of Hanover by bike or the city train from Misburg. It's a big place, with a unique and really big lake, I've been across it but never managed to swim the whole length of it. There is a barefoot path through the forest, volleyball court, table tennis, archery at the youth hut, a... large sunbathing lawn, children's playground, water trampoline, a separate shallow swimming area for children, a café/restaurant, a sauna, and everything else I've forgotten.
I can really recommend the Sonnenseespiele with the naturist run every year, there is a great program with lots of events for everyone. Jan and all his helpers do a really great job, and Jan in particular somehow manages to be in all the places at the same time, I don't know how he does it, and always helpful, and always with a nice word. It makes you feel welcome.

We plan to go to the Sonnensee Games, which are almost a family festival with lots of sport for everyone.
After a friendly welcome, we park up, get out and relax.
We immediately feel at home in this oasis of peace. We... go for a walk around the lake, meet nice people and, if the weather is nice, go for a quick swim. There are many permanent campers around the lake who also contribute significantly to the well-kept appearance of the site.
Hungry?
