- Franziska B.srpanj 2026We'll visit again next yearWe were greeted very warmly by a very friendly staff member right from the start. Then we headed to the tent field. The field is very spacious, and you have a clear view of the playground for the little ones.
The grounds are very well-maintained overall. The showers, in particular, are great. You have... the option to book private bathrooms or use the communal showers. The communal showers are divided into individual stalls, so we always felt a sense of privacy. The stalls are spacious and equipped with an additional sink, an outlet, and plenty of places to hang your bags.
The view of the lake is a dream.
For day trips, I’d recommend Munich, among other places, as well as a visit to the Wendelstein. Both are easily accessible in just under an hour by car. There’s also an Edeka in town (within walking distance) that has a good selection.

Spacious sites, nice sleeping barrels, clean restrooms (the one downstairs is a bit dated).
We’ve been coming here for several years.
It’s a shame that they no longer accept group bookings and that campsites must be booked for at least five nights. And unfortunately, the license plate recognition system doesn’t work.

We’re thrilled with this place! A nice, easy first impression. At check-in, the staff clearly enjoy what they do. Even when we had an electrical problem on the second day, we received prompt assistance, even though the lady at the front desk had already finished her shift and was... about to leave. Great!
The restroom facilities are modern and exceptionally clean—at any time of day! The campground itself is well-maintained and also clean.
The only downside worth mentioning is the mini-market, due to its very high prices! The same goes for the on-site restaurant! I think you can tell by how few people are there.
Pitch 165—a dream. Highly recommended. Direct view of the lake. It’s more than worth the price!
All in all, if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation in a well-maintained, pleasant, and friendly atmosphere, this is the perfect place for you.
