- USUlrich S.august 2026A Wonderful Vacation in SextenEspecially from a child’s perspective, this is a really lovely campground with great indoor and outdoor playgrounds and an indoor climbing gym. The fantastic indoor pool complex with its various pools is, of course, a big draw as well. What we liked best, though, was the location! It’s simply perfect... for an active vacation! - BKBjörn K.august 2026Dream LocationThe caravan park really deserves 6 stars. A great campsite surrounded by nature with every luxury you could wish for. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The supermarket has everything you could want, and everything is absolutely clean and tidy. There’s even a wide selection of gluten-free foods... (including pizza at the restaurant). The bus service is also excellent. The bus departs right from the campground at frequent intervals.

2) Ensure that guests staying in the caravan can access the spa even without a reservation, in case they forget to make one.
3) Greater professionalism on the part of the tavern staff, both in managing the tables and in interacting... with guests; I found the gentleman at the bar to be very surly and almost annoyed by any question or request made of him.

The combination of the impressive mountain scenery of the Dolomites, the exceptional comfort, and the countless activities right on your doorstep makes this place truly special.
We were particularly impressed by the perfect location:... hikes to the Rotwand or the Kreuzberg Pass can start right from the campground—you can simply leave the car behind. It’s a true dream for nature lovers and families.
After an active day, there’s hardly anything better than relaxing in the spacious swimming pool or one of the various outdoor hot tubs. Especially with a view of the surrounding mountains, the wellness facilities are simply one-of-a-kind!
We weren’t disappointed by the food either. The pizza at the restaurant was excellent and is definitely among the best we’ve ever had at a campground.
The entire campground is very well-maintained, the restrooms are modern and clean, and the staff was always friendly and helpful during our stay.
We’d like to make one small suggestion for improvement, however: We would have liked to see hand sanitizer and a way to dry our hands in the accessible restrooms. Especially for guests who rely on these facilities, this should be a given.
Otherwise, we have hardly anything to complain about. Caravan Park Sexten is certainly not one of the cheapest campgrounds, but it offers an exceptional overall package of nature, comfort, wellness, and dining.
