"Our Second Vacation at the Boddenblick Campground - This was our second time staying at the campground with our RV... once in 2025 and once in 2026... The campground is nice and quiet... The restrooms are new and very clean... When showering, you have to stand right up against the wall... to reach the water stream... Washing and rinsing your hair is no problem... you just have to press the showerhead more often... since it has a built-in water-saving mode... But the showers are free... The mini-shop supplies us with fresh rolls every day... which can be ordered via the app by 10:00 PM the day before... There’s also a small selection of dairy products... reading material... beverages... drugstore items... etc. Payment is by debit card only... The restaurant next door... on the campground grounds... hosts various events... e.g., Schnitzel Night... meaning all-you-can-eat schnitzel... spare ribs night... etc. The food at the restaurant is sooooo delicious... we highly recommend it.... It’s a good idea to reserve a table via the app or at the front desk... The campground staff are very friendly and helpful... We were there with two dogs (Bernese Mountain Dog mixes)... Poop bags are no problem... they’re hanging outside the dishwashing area... Dogs are also no problem... they just have to be kept on a leash... From the campground, it’s great to go for walks in nature or ride a bike... We really enjoyed our vacation... and hope... to see you again next year... "great for the bike tour - Only recommended if you are mobile, everything around is far away, no trees, new facilities and soon a great spa area will be opened. The natural swimming pool and the loungers around it are nice, but the pool is freezing cold. For us it was a cloudy 20-25 degrees, so it was bearable, but when the sun is burning, I imagine it's much too hot there without shade, and to our delight the mosquitoes were limited compared to Zingst. We were able to take the dog for a nice walk along the field path directly behind the campsite towards the Bodden.
