"If only I'd known all that... - Unfortunately, we fell for the illusion that the positive reviews were accurate. For us, the opposite was true: The value for money was absolutely not there. The site for a trailer with an awning and a car was just under 50 m² and there was barely any safe distance from the neighbor. Poor planning: grass pavers for the RV and concrete slabs for the awning. Great if the awning isn’t the same size as the slabs. Then one side can barely be secured with ground anchors :( As for the extra costs: Visitor’s tax, electricity, shower (€1.50/6 minutes), and use of the locked kitchen: €5. The washing machine costs €2 per hour. The kiosk and snack bar are also overpriced. Furthermore, there’s no common room (too bad if you’re camping in a tent). Condition of the paths: large puddles form when it rains, and they linger for a few days. There’s hardly any lighting on the paths. Washing dishes is only possible outdoors (great when it rains). Oh, and card payments are only accepted for the campsite. The visitor’s tax, snack bar, and kiosk require cash. It would have been very helpful to have this information on the website. In this digital age, I find that very outdated. (I find the excuse about transaction fees very flimsy.) All in all, even the new washhouse can’t change my opinion for the better, since my wife complained every day about the smell in the women’s restroom. The old washhouse is dilapidated, and the noise from the nearby highway didn’t make for a peaceful night. We’ve been traveling a lot with our trailer for years (including abroad), but we definitely won’t be visiting this campground again. And remember: 5 km/h (but only by car)!

"Campsite directly on the main road - The campsite is located directly on the main road leading to Scharbeutz. This makes it very noisy. The sanitary facilities are very basic. The place is not particularly lovingly designed. The price-performance ratio is not good at all. You have to pay extra for all services, and the showers are rather expensive at €1. The snack bar and kiosk are also very expensive. We are frequent campers and have never had a campsite like this before, where the description, the pictures and the price suggested something different to what you would expect on site. I would not book this site a second time.

"Beautiful place - The whole team is very friendly - from the reception to the groundsman, snack bar and kiosk, which offers a good bread roll service. The delicious bread rolls are fresh from the bakery and can easily be pre-ordered until the evening before. Most of the pitches are paved so that the caravan doesn't get stuck in the mud when it rains. There is a terrace with slabs and some grass, fresh water and electricity. Only the waste water connection is missing and must be disposed of at the sanitary facilities. The rear sanitary facilities are not yet old and are very attractive. The sanitary at the reception is getting on in years, but usable. Shower tokens 1 EUR for 5 minutes, electricity is charged according to consumption. There is a footpath (also possible by bike) across the site towards the beach, so you don't necessarily have to walk along the road (approx. 700 m). Depending on the wind, you can hear the highway roaring quietly. Despite our sensitivity to noise, we didn't find it disturbing. It was very quiet at night. 2 tent meadows - the one for groups was at the other end of the site, so that nothing could be heard there either.

"Campsite with tent . Very well maintained and good electricity for everyone . - The operator puts his heart and soul into his work, as do his employees. Everyone is welcomed with an open heart. Everything is clean and very well maintained. The food at the kiosk is always plentiful and good no matter what. Parking is good and always close by.

"Lars & Iwona - Hello, We spent 2 nights at the Seepferdchen campsite with our Bulli, we liked it very much, the staff was also very polite & nice and the whole place is very well maintained, thumbs up and keep it up. We'll be back in 2023 😉👍🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️
