"Sensibly equipped camping - Well-kept campsite with many permanent campers. Mostly quiet, only the road on the other side of the lake is audible. The lake and bathing area are beautiful. The area is ideal for cycling. The Italian restaurant next to the campsite is good, especially the beautiful terrace by the lake. All in all, a recommendable campsite with good facilities close by

"Beautiful place for a family camping vacation - A very nice, small campsite located directly on a fantastic lake. Most of the pitches are for permanent campers, but there is a small meadow where vacationers can stay. The managers and staff are super friendly and helpful and take great care of the site and the guests. We camped there with our children and bathed a lot. The site is perfect for this. You can walk into town and the nearby shopping facilities were very practical.

"Small fine campsite - Very friendly and helpful staff and operators. Located directly on the lake. Clean sanitary facilities. A great Italian restaurant on site with a wonderful terrace and shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity. Many excursion destinations in the surrounding area. Very good value for money. A nice quiet place without a lot of frills. Perfect for us - we had a wonderful pitch by the lake!

"Small but nice campsite - We were there with 2 caravans and got excellent pitches right by the lake. They are flat and covered with grass. You can go into the lake directly from the pitch (own bathing island). There is also a playground for the children on the fine sandy beach. There are numerous electricity and water taps in the immediate vicinity (max. 20m from the pitch). There is no store on the site, but there are 3 supermarkets with a bakery or bakery store in the immediate vicinity. There is also a restaurant right next to the site and an outdoor pool for those who prefer tiled bathing. The sanitary facilities are a bit older and rather functional. The cleanliness is O.K. but not outstanding. Showers are free of charge. It is very quiet on the site, partly because the owner rejects party and youth groups. The staff on the site are always present and very friendly and helpful. You always feel well looked after and we felt very comfortable there and would love to come back again.

"We mostly liked it - For the first camping vacation with child and tent it was quite nice. I thought the location was good, you can go shopping nearby... everything around the corner, we had electricity in the tent. I found the sanitary facilities a bit dirty (showers)... otherwise it was very clean and tidy... everyone was friendly and very helpful. The lake is beautiful and we had lots of places to visit. The Schwetzingen Palace Gardens were particularly beautiful, but I also knew them well.

Der familienfreundliche Campingplatz Freyersee in Philippsburg liegt am Ortsrand und hat vom 01.04. - 30.09. geöffnet. Neben einer kleinen Rezeption befinden sich auf dem Gelände sehr moderne sanitäre Anlagen, welche nicht nur mit einem Fön sowie einem Wickeltisch, sondern auch …mit einem sogenannten "Toilet Seat Cleaner" punkten können. Darüber hinaus wartet das Gebäude mit einer Waschmaschine, einem Trockner und einem Geschirrspülbecken auf. Da der Campingplatz direkt am Ufer eines Baggersees liegt, können hier verschiedene Wassersportarten ausgeübt werden: Schwimmer steuern gerne die Badeinsel an. Aber auch Surfern und Paddlern bieten sich hier gute Bedingungen. Zudem besteht die Möglichkeit, zu tauchen oder zu angeln bzw. am Sandstrand oder auf der angrenzenden Liegewiese die Sonne zu genießen. In direkter Nachbarschaft des Campingplatzes Freyersee finden Urlauber ein italienisches Restaurant mit Seeterrasse sowie ein Freibad mit Rutsche und Sprungtürmen vor. Darüber hinaus sind sowohl ein Fitness-Studio als auch ein Indoor-Abenteuerspielplatz ebenso wie mehrer Supermärkte weniger als 200 m vom Campingplatz entfernt.
