"Mr. - The visit to Burg Eltz was a disappointing one. Much too crowded. Not suitable for the high season. Certainly not with the Corona virus. Also Cochem is a witching hotspot. But if you stay away from those hotspots the surroundings are beautiful. Also from the campsite you have wonderful forest walks. Wonderful.

"Extended weekend - We have now returned home after the long weekend and are still raving about Camping Zur Winneburg. We had a great time, as the campsite was only occupied by a few campers. The sanitary facilities have been partially renovated and attractively designed. They were always clean. The pitches are not parceled out and are beautifully situated by a stream. We felt very comfortable there, especially because of the peace and quiet and the good hiking opportunities. With dogs you have direct access to the forest... simply great. Bread roll service is also available. The bread rolls are highly recommended. We will definitely be back

" - The Campsite is quietly located on the creek the "Wilde Endert" far from the busy road. It is a nature campsite suitable for people who love peace and nature, no defined places. There is free Wifi and one can order fresh bread rolls at associated hotel. No hassle with shower coins and the hot water is really hot. Many hiking possibilities and swimming pool and Supermarkets are 2.5km away. Cochem itself is 2km away which is easy to walk or bike.There is also a wine tasting room open by appointment with wines from this region. There are Dutch speaking staff.

" - A very pretty site situated behind the hotel and restaurant, not a big site but within easy reach of Cochem. The facilities are basic but clean. There are no shops or leisure facilities so probably not suitable for families but for couples of any age a very nice site and we will be going back.

Nestled along a charming stream at the edge of the forest, our 40 idyllic pitches are surrounded by hedges and …sheltered in the valley of the “Wilde Endert.” Nearby, you can easily reach the sturdy ruins of Winneburg via well-maintained hiking trails. Just a few minutes from Cochem, you’ll find soothing peace combined with the comforts of camping in the heart of nature. We want you to feel at home and enjoy a holiday you’ll fondly remember.
