"Old, not up to date and price performance is not right - On a long weekend, they can't manage it at reception, the access road is then blocked and you can't get in or out. Dogs must be kept on a leash on the campsite, unfortunately this is not adhered to. Whether guest campers or permanent campers they just let their dogs run free. It is dangerous to cross the campsite as a pedestrian, as no one keeps to the speed limit (10km/h). The access road to the campsite is unreasonable for pedestrians as well as drivers. Driving is not recommended

"Ok for 1 night. - Nice location right on the water and close to the highway. Great if you have a boat or just want to stay overnight. Nice restaurant with simple but solid cuisine. Service was very good and friendly, unlike the reception. However, not suitable for us for a longer stay. Several places had loud party music playing into the evening.

"Super domicile - Always happy to return, we were also there at Easter, have known the island for many years and can say that everything has changed for the better .... also the sanitary building was always clean during our stay !!!!

"New operator very good concept - We arrived at lunchtime and were lucky to get a place on the Moselle (camp has no parceling) at the weekend it can get a bit louder if you are right on the Moselle (motorboat and jet ski traffic) but everything is tolerable. Very good restaurant and a great beer garden

"Simple and good - From the uncomplicated registration to the departure (possible until 6 pm!), it was the right place for us. We were here on the last weekend before the 2021 winter break to explore the area. Unfortunately, the restaurant was already closed, so we ate in the adjacent marina. That was really good. The sanitary facilities were always clean and perfectly adequate.

Die Ferieninsel Winningen ist ein inhabergeführter Familienbetrieb mit eigenem Restaurant direkt auf dem Platz. Sie bietet ideale Bedingungen für spontanes und flexibles Campen. Zwischen den Weinbergen der Mosel gelegen, umfasst das Gelände alles, was für einen erholsamen Urlaub notwendig ist. …Die Anreise gestaltet sich besonders unkompliziert, da keine Reservierung erforderlich ist und Stellflächen auf den unparzellierten Wiesen frei gewählt werden können – beispielsweise unmittelbar an der Mosel oder im Schatten der zahlreichen Bäume. Eine weitere Möglichkeit bietet das Übernachten in einem Campingfass mit eigener Terrasse direkt am Wasser. Das Insel-Restaurant stellt eine Besonderheit dar und zieht auch viele Gäste von außerhalb an. Ein großer Biergarten mit weinbewachsener Pergola direkt an der Mosel schafft eine eindrucksvolle Atmosphäre. Die Küche bietet eine abwechslungsreiche Auswahl, ergänzt durch spezielle Gerichte und eine große Auswahl handverlesener Winninger Weine. Während der Saison ist das Restaurant täglich geöffnet, wobei eine Tischreservierung empfehlenswert ist. Für Campinggäste stehen Bootsstege und eine Slipanlage zur Verfügung. Ein kleiner Insel-Shop mit Brötchenservice sorgt für zusätzlichen Komfort, und die Anreise ist rund um die Uhr möglich. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich ein großes öffentliches Freibad, und durch die Lage eignet sich der Platz hervorragend als Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren und Wanderungen. Ein Check-out bis 16 Uhr trägt zu einer entspannten Abreise bei.
