In the south of this region, about 80km south-west of Turin, is the most attractive village of Villar San Costanzo (see Dronero). This region offers plenty of fruit … instead of kiwis, apples, nectarines, apricots, peaches. Here is a star "Camping Villar. This (new) site consists of 19 pitches, 9 x 8mt. 6-amp electricity, A bathhouse with showers, toilets (including disabled), basins, sinks, washing machine and reception. The manager, speaking Dutch, lives in the camp itself. From the campsite you have a wonderful view of the mountains, the natural reserve "Parco dei Ciciu" directly behind the camp and the entrance of the Maira Valley just 3 km. Furthermore, there are several entrances to beautiful valleys within a radius of 45km, each of these with its own identity, not yet fully discovered by tourists is still absolutely pristine nature. Each village has its own surprises with beautiful buildings, churches, in short, lots of culture! The campsite is just inside the non-hilly area, lends itself perfectly for hiking or cycling / cycling on non-hilly routes, but also for walking / cycling / / mountain bike and cycling in the mountains. The nearest big city of Cuneo, is 20km. This cozy, beautiful town at the foot of the mighty "Bisalta" offers something for everyone with every Tuesday a very nice big flea markets.
