Piedmont is known for its natural beauty, excellent food, cheeses and wines. In the south of this region, about 80km south-west of Turin, is the most attractive village of Villar San Costanzo (see Dronero). This region offers plenty of fruit …instead of kiwis, apples, nectarines, apricots, peaches. Here is a star "Camping Villar. This (new) site consists of 19 pitches, 9 x 8mt. 6-amp electricity, A bathhouse with showers, toilets (including disabled), basins, sinks, washing machine and reception. The manager, speaking Dutch, lives in the camp itself. From the campsite you have a wonderful view of the mountains, the natural reserve "Parco dei Ciciu" directly behind the camp and the entrance of the Maira Valley just 3 km. Furthermore, there are several entrances to beautiful valleys within a radius of 45km, each of these with its own identity, not yet fully discovered by tourists is still absolutely pristine nature.
