"Highly recommended! - We had actually booked from Saturday to Wednesday and would have liked to stay longer, but because of the public holiday everything was fully booked from Thursday. Unfortunately, our dog was so ill on Sunday that we had to fear the worst. Unfortunately, we left on Sunday and the spontaneous cancellation was handled very accommodatingly. Thanks again for that. We would love to come back again. After a few days at home and lots of medication, Beppo is fortunately feeling better again...we wouldn't have dared to believe that on Sunday.

"Very good space and still potential for optimization here and there - We were there for 10 days over Easter. It's not the campsite's fault that the weather was bad at the beginning. Steep access from the country road 'down' to the campsite, which is located directly on the Passer. Pitch with electricity, water and waste water. Wifi on the pitch. Bus stop approx. 150 m away. Free use thanks to guest card. In about 30 minutes in the center of Merano. Hirzer mountain railroad approx. 100 m away. Passer cycle/hiking path leads directly past the campsite. Supermarket approx. 3-4 km away in Riffian or St. Martin. Very clean and modern sanitary facilities. Unfortunately, only 1 window, so that the humid air from the showers is very poorly extracted. This could cause a mold problem in the long term. Indoor/outdoor pool heated and wellness facilities. As some people don't take their shoes off/change them at the entrance, they drag the dirt into the pool/wellness area. Tennis court belongs to the hotel. Can be booked for a fee. Children's playground could be a bit bigger. We thought the restaurant was great. The supermarket is also very well stocked and offers many regional specialties. Staff always very friendly and helpful. For "Ideal for..." you can only click on 5 in the rating. I could easily think of 10 things to do from the campsite.

"Another successful event! - We were there for the 5th time now, it has become like a beautiful 2nd home. The new shower and toilet areas are very, very nice. If we all stay healthy, we'll see you again next year.

"We will be back - We booked again for 2024. Everything was fine. We were even able to change our booked pitch again on site. And without any problems like at other campsites. Ideal for cycling and hiking. Restaurant and store highly recommended.

"In the mountains - The site is ideal for all kinds of activities. Hiking, cycling, water sports on the Passer, not far away is a station for various activities. Paragliding not far from the campsite. Merano is very easy to reach by bike or St. Martin/ Leonhardt. Thank you for a wonderful time. We can recommend this place without reservation.

The family-run campsite at the entrance to the Passeiertal valley at 500m above sea level is an excellent starting point for hikers and cyclists, with countless options right from the campsite. The Hirzer cable car, which whisks you up to …2000m into a magnificent mountain world in just a few minutes, is 200m from the site; the bike path runs directly past the campsite and the river, and the beautiful Maiser Waalweg trail is perfect for walking to Merano. The campsite features an indoor and outdoor pool, a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, and a beauty department where you can indulge in massages. Attached to the site is a modern, cozy bistro, restaurant, and pizzeria offering a wide selection of meat and fish specialties, as well as vegetarian and vegan dishes. In the well-stocked shop, you'll find not only regional specialties like speck, cheese, and wine, fresh rolls, fruit, and vegetables, but also camping gear, toys, and South Tyrolean natural cosmetics. Guests at Camping Passeier enjoy comfortable sanitary facilities and private rental bathrooms. The large pitches for RVs and tents, up to 120 sqm, come with water connections and partly wastewater hookups too. Additionally, you'll receive the Südtirol Guest Pass, allowing free use of public transport. Buses run every 15-30 minutes.
