"Beautiful campsite directly on Lake Shkodra - Very nice camping site on the lake. Everything nicely laid out with electricity and water connection on site Top sanitary facilities that are constantly cleaned. There is a small store and a restaurant on site. The food is very good, plentiful and reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and some speak German. On the main road after the bridge there are other shops (bakery, groceries) You can buy bread early in the restaurant on site (no other baked goods). There were mainly vacationers from Germany, Holland and Austria. From the square you can also drive to a good winery (Kantina Mani/Mani Winery). There you can drink a good wine and also get snacks. There are also simple motorhome pitches at the winery as an alternative to the campsite. Recommended

"good choice - Great campsite with very clean sanitary facilities. The restaurant is very good. Very stress-free even with a dog. We will definitely be back.

"Beautiful, right on the lake, lots of greenery - Nice place with lots of shade, electricity and water directly at the site, own lake area, dogs are - except in the glamping area - welcome and allowed everywhere (also at the lake), many toilets and showers, good restaurant with friendly service, the gate at the access road prevents arrivals and departures around the clock, small mini market at the site for the essentials. We spontaneously extended our stay by a day because we and the dog liked it so much. It was no problem. Everyone was very nice.

"Excellent and very friendly staff - You wouldn't expect such a well-kept site with good infrastructure off the SH1 road out of Shkodra. The restaurant serves bread rolls in the morning and is well frequented by campsite guests in the evening due to its quality. In addition to bikers and 4WD drivers, a large number of motorhome owners gather here. Individual families and guests with dogs are also welcome. Mountain bikers can enjoy some gravel tours towards the mountains. Otherwise you are less than 10 km from Shkodra for a sightseeing tour . The distance is doubled if you want to visit the old bridge and stay off the SH1 if possible. The old town is surprisingly beautifully renovated with a variety of restaurants. Worthwhile! I will certainly visit the campsite again on my return trip.

We are a 20 minute drive from Montenegro (24km) on the new SH1 road. Situated only 7km from Shkoder city centre, and on-route to the popular destinations of Vermosh and Thethi in the Albanian Alps. Our grounds are 10 hectares (20 acres) in size and include a private beach with direct access into the lake. Our beach front restaurant and bar specialises in grilled meats & seafood, traditional Albanian cuisine, pizzas and home grown organic vegetables. Excursions available to Thethi, Valbona, Vermosh, Lake Koman and Shkoder. Free; Wi-Fi, sun beds & umbrellas, children's play area, table tennis, volley ball and badminton. On-site mini-market. Canoe, pedalo, bike and stand up paddle board hire available. Lodge, cabins, tree houses, hotel rooms and luxury tents available to rent.

GPS Co-ordinates N 42 08.302 E 19 27.938 From Montenegro (24km) - Enter Albania at Hani i Hotit, head towards the newly finished E762/SH1 south, pass by Koplik, head towards Omare/Omaraj and Grile (the direction of Shkoder). Before reaching Grile …and the railway bridge, at the turning for Omare/Omaraj (on the left), turn right onto a small single track road and travel 0.9km towards the lake. Lake Shkodra Resort is sign posted from the main road. Head towards the lake and you will reach the resort. Approximately 25 minute drive from Montenegro. From Shkoder - head out of Shkoder onto the E762/SH1 towards Hani i Hotit (& Theth), drive through the village of Grile, over the railway line bridge. We are 7km from Shkoder city centre. When you drive off the bridge, after 200 meters turn left at the crossroad (not right for Omare/Omaraj). We are sign posted from the E762/SH1.
