The staff is very accommodating and goes out of their way to make sure that even latecomers can still find a spot. The location is excellent for exploring the Dolomites in various ways. I was there on my motorcycle.

Not for me
A really nice campground
I was very satisfied and would recommend this place. I would also recommend it to motorcycle travelers.

The campsite is perfectly managed. The entire site is clean and well maintained. We have been traveling with our motorhome for several years - it has been the cleanest site ever. This site can only be recommended. Mountain railroads just a few steps away. Also ideal for a winter vacation. A great price-performance ratio.

Top starting point for skiing
The location is ideal, approx. 200 m to the lift station (you have to carry your skis in the morning, but then you are immediately warmed up for skiing. Unless you use the ski bus). You can ski back directly to the mobile home. The site is very quiet and the sanitary facilities are very clean. Very good... (also the selection) bread products (on pre-order). Staff all very friendly, the groundsman Dragan (thanks again for everything) is extremely helpful. Stores and restaurants within walking distance (about 5 minutes in one direction or the other). We would love to come back.

The good location and the peace and quiet
Hardly a better location possible
Very quiet and well-kept campsite within walking distance of Corvara and the cable cars there. The separation of tents and campers makes the tent area very cozy and beautiful. The site is just outside the village and extremely quiet

Great location surrounded by mountains, nice and competent management
We spent 2 days in June 2017 and were thrilled. Beautiful location, clean sanitary facilities, bread roll service. Unfortunately no restaurant, but a very good pizzeria 200m away. The campsite was the starting point for two hikes, which were recommended to us by the management. The pitches for motorhomes are terraced and paved with gravel, tents are on grass.

Lack of security and controls against theft
Lovely place but beware of theft
I have been coming to this facility for many years , always and only in winter. The location is ideal for those who love skiing and you can easily reach the center of corvara. Beware of theft : they do not have effective video surveillance system and to me they stole technical clothing stored in the laundry room of the facility . The management is not responsible for the thefts suffered.Too bad really.

Ideal for winter camping and skiing
Very well cleared pitch for motorhomes. As far as I have seen, no permanent campers. Fantastic view, good and friendly service. Approx. 300 m to the lift station, you can ski back to the motorhome. Very clean sanitary facilities. Supply and disposal also possible in winter. Everything is great.

Advantages
Convenient to the ski lifts and convenient to the center of Corvara, as well as for walks.
Negatives
Lack of in-house catering, market is poorly stocked. Poor breakfast bar.
Winter camping
The campground is convenient to Corvara and the ski lifts. The sanitary facilities are excellent. However, the pitches are not marked out. To be improved access with snow by keeping the road section to the reception clean. The restaurant is missing, and for winter it would be convenient to have it especially in the evenings.

Staff, restrictions due to the access ramp, chip cards for the toilets
very dissatisfied
We have a lot of experience with different campsites all over Europe, but this campsite was a big disappointment for us. On the day of arrival we called politely (18:30) that we had not reserved a place and asked if there was still capacity and if the access to the campsite was free. We wanted to arrive... at about 9:30 pm and not stay in front of the closed campsite. We were told that space in the campsite was not a problem, but that the access ramp would already be down. We should just park the car in front of the campsite and pitch the tent. Ok, it wasn't a problem, we parked, pitched the tent and went to sleep. Like almost all of us, you have to go to the toilet before sleeping. Unfortunately, not a single toilet was open because this campsite has a card system for toilets and showers. So, no toilet, no water, totally unexpected and very unpleasant for me. The next day I wanted to register so that we could finally get the card for the toilet and shower. But the office was closed and only opened at 08:00. So I waited for the first camping guest and he then opened the door to the toilet for me. Out of 8 toilets, only 2 were open, so we had to wait quite a long time every morning and also in the evening until we got our turn. (Although these toilets would have been operational - they were simply closed. (Maybe so that the staff only had to clean 2 toilets instead of 8?) We checked in and drove to Val Gardena by car. (to register for a race). We were there at 12:30, the access ramp was closed, so we couldn't drive our car in to our spot. The access ramp is open from 08:00 - 12:00 and from 15:00 - 20:00. This means that if you arrive at 13:00, for example, you have to wait until 15:00. In my opinion, this is very impractical and restrictive (just for information, a lot of people came and left during this time because they didn't want to wait 3 hours to park their caravan or car). In the evening there was a long queue for the showers because only 2 out of 6 showers were open. I didn't find out the reason for this, the showers were locked from the inside. The staff at the campsite were not interested in this fact. We paid €9 for the washing machine, which we preferred not to pay because even in Switzerland, washing costs from CHF 3 to 5 at campsites. We spent a total of 3 nights at this campsite. On the last day we checked out at around 10:00 a.m., we hung our 2 sleeping bags in front of our friends' caravan to air out and I went for a walk with my girlfriend and 2 small children to Corvara, my other friends went cycling. Our car stayed in front of the campsite. At 2:30 pm I came back to the campsite with the children to pack up the 2 sleeping bags and say goodbye. Then the woman from reception (or rather the boss) came to me and shouted at me that I had nothing to do at the campsite because I had already checked out and that I had to pay for another day. (As did the friend who had gone cycling in the morning and hadn't yet returned) She wanted me to pay a total of €16 for 2 people and then we could stay until 8pm in the evening. Since I didn't agree, she threatened to call the police. When I said that I wouldn't pay the €16 for 10 minutes, she kept repeating that there were rules and that I should just leave with the car. (By the way - when I checked out, I was not made aware that we were not allowed to leave the car in front of the campsite) I think that even if you stay in a hotel, it is almost always possible to store your luggage for a few hours. But never mind. I personally will never come back and I won't recommend this campsite to any of my friends. The only positive thing about this camp was the beautiful view of the mountains.

Something is still possible!
Nice place but at almost 40 euros (2 people + Womo) there could also be boot dryers in the ski cellar. W-Lan only works in the cafe and is very slow. For this 2.50 euros per 30 minutes is not up to date. German gas bottles can be exchanged (40 Euro/11Kg). Otherwise everything was great!

Very well-kept campsite directly on the Sella Ronda. Breathtaking mountain scenery all around. At the beginning of September there was enough space for everyone. Lawns for tents, the trees are only as tall as fir trees, but as it got very fresh after sunset, we didn't miss any shade. The site operators... are very careful to ensure that cars are only parked on the gravel paths and not on the meadows - if you feel patronized by this, you should camp elsewhere. Friendly atmosphere, lots of climbers, hikers and cyclists.

Excellent campsite in a mountain setting. Convenient location for cycling and hiking in the surrounding hills - 10 minutes walk from the Boe cable car in Corvara. Perfectly clean sanitary facilities, hot water throughout the day, electric hook-up at the tents - for foreigners beware of a different type... of electric plug (reducer can be purchased directly at the campsite). Friendly staff, it is possible to order fresh pastries for the next day. Other supplies better to bring with you, there are almost no goods in the local minimarket. There is a fridge at the campsite where you can have refills frozen in a portable freezer if you have them with you. We were here in early August 2013 for a total of 4 days and were completely satisfied.

A great campsite with everything a camper needs and in very high quality. Our 2 small dogs were also very welcome there. If you need more (catering facilities etc.) you should move to a hotel. There are plenty of them in Corvara and Colfosco. Very well-kept sanitary facilities and the site operator and his team are constantly working to maintain order and cleanliness. Many thanks for the pleasant stay.
