"Children under 14 years prohibited! - We regularly come to this great place. Everything is perfect, except for the exclusion of children. That's not possible.

"Very good place for a short vacation - This terraced campsite can be described as close to nature, despite the particularly paved ground. There are areas of flower meadows for insects everywhere, without the site looking unkempt! The actual pitches, however, are equipped with fine gravel and heavily compacted. As a result, there are of course no problems when driving on them. Not even after persistent rain! However, it is advisable to follow the advice of the operator (who camps himself) and use appropriate tent pegs. The sanitary areas were clean at all times, even during the busy holiday weekend, as far as this is the responsibility of the operator. That some people can't behave.... I would also like to praise the showers, which are included in the price, some of which have removable shower heads and are equipped with plenty of hot water. The surrounding area offers plenty of excursion destinations, cycle routes, forest paths to walk along, historical sights to marvel at and culinary delights to discover. The restaurant on site is very good and it took us 3 attempts to get a table. But there are also many good alternatives in Kastellaun! On my next visit, I'll book a flight lesson in the simulator and an evening in the sauna at the hotel next door.

Our adult-friendly and step-free campsite in the Hunsrück region warmly welcomes all guests aged 14 and over. The spacious layout makes it ideal for (very) large units such as long caravans, camper buses, expedition trucks, and more. Thanks to paved …roads and gravel-lawn pitches, driving and maneuvering is hassle-free – though you’ll need very sturdy pegs. We recommend 100 mm steel nails. The best part: even after long periods of rain, the entire site remains mud-free – your setup stays clean! Right next door, enjoy delicious meals at the Greek restaurant AFRODITI in the BurgStadt Hotel. Additional restaurants and supermarkets in nearby Kastellaun are easily accessible on foot or by bike – you’ll find a map on our website. Since Easter 2024, both the ladies’ and men’s sanitary facilities include a wheelchair-accessible shower and toilet, free of charge. A tilting mirror has also been installed at one sink in each restroom for easier use by wheelchair users. Each pitch is equipped with: - Fresh water connection - Greywater drain - 220V/16A ECE power outlet Chemical toilet cassettes can be emptied at the sanitary building. Built-in tanks (grey/black water) can be emptied at the disposal point before the entrance barrier. Note during frost periods: Fresh water is not available directly at the pitch – please use the tap outside the sanitary building (via canister or hose). Bread Roll Service: Fresh baked goods from our local bakery are delivered every morning. Order during check-in, pay during check-out.
