- 5.0AKAndreas K.juli 20265.0AKAndreas K.juli 2026PositiveThe grounds and restrooms were very clean. Good selection of bread rolls and cakes. Very friendly staff at check-in. We'd go back in a heartbeat.NegativYou shouldn't count on the internet connection at the campground. The tent stakes don't go all the way into the ground, even the shorter ones. With a cordless drill, you'll run into the same problems, but otherwise it's good ground for camping.I'd love to go back to the spot by the reservoir right awayFriendly and helpful staff at check-in. Beautiful sites with a view of the reservoir. Great selection of rolls and cakes. Wine straight from the producer. Lots of activities on the grounds: For the little ones, there are 2 nice playgrounds, mini-golf, Kalber Jump (mountain bike hill tour), curling (even... in summer), and table soccer. Bike and SUP board rentals (ideal for the reservoir). Dogs have their own washing area. Grassy area by the reservoir. The snack bar by the reservoir comes highly, highly recommended—the food is absolutely delicious. So I’d definitely come back to this place again and again.Automatisk oversat.Ingen campere fandt denne bedømmelse hjælpsom. Vær den første!

- 5.0MSMarcus S.november 20255.0MSMarcus S.november 2025Super campsite! We come to you several times a year, it is always a nice time that we are allowed to spend there, super friendly staff, very, very clean and modern facility, since we are always traveling with dogs, we and especially our dogs love the large dog meadow, everything is clean there too, always poop bags in the stand, garbage cans, etc..

The staff are very friendly. We had rain for days, which had a very negative effect on the ground conditions. The ground is very clayey and was completely soaked. Many people had difficulty getting off their pitches. Nevertheless, a beautiful site. We would love to come again.Automatisk oversat.Ingen campere fandt denne bedømmelse hjælpsom. Vær den første!
- 4.0MZMichael Z.oktober 20254.0MZMichael Z.oktober 2025Camping vacationWe received a very nice welcome on arrival, the lady at reception explained all the important things about the campsite, which, with its terraced location, guarantees an unobstructed view of the lake. She informed us about excursion destinations and recommended several cafés and restaurants, which we... took advantage of. The lakeside terrace in Sondern was a particular culinary highlight.
The spacious sanitary facilities and the very well-kept overall impression should be emphasized.

Very nice staff and very nice pitches. The cleanliness in the sanitary facilities was really good. Maybe on bridge days/long weekends you can install an additional cleaning unit daily in the evening (6-8 pm) as it can be a bit more crowded here and the toilets are used accordingly. Otherwise everything was good 👍Automatisk oversat.1 camper fandt denne bedømmelse hjælpsom.

As for the campsite itself, it is well-kept/clean. If you like views and ambience, I can recommend the pitches with lake views. - 5.0RGRita G.september 20255.0RGRita G.september 2025Fall vacationThe campsite was not very busy at the time, so I can only say a little.
We were lucky enough to have a sanitary building right next to us. It was very modern and, above all, very clean.
It was a little unusual for us that men and women had to use the same toilets. But it didn't bother us because there... was very little going on.
The operators were very polite and courteous. The bread roll service was also good.
Otherwise you have to have a bike with you because there was no restaurant. You have to leave the site to eat or drink.
As we were only there for 4 days - which was due to the cool weather - we felt very comfortable and relaxed there.
We can recommend the campsite. We can't say what it's like in the high season with all the campsites.Automatisk oversat.Ingen campere fandt denne bedømmelse hjælpsom. - 5.0SHSylvi H.september 20255.0SHSylvi H.september 2025100% recommendationCampinggut Kalberschnacke is a terraced campsite. Many of the pitches have a view of the lake. The sanitary facilities are well maintained and there are plenty of comfortably sized toilets. Everything is clean. There is a store on site with everything you need for your daily needs and there is a bread... roll service.
We also received a very warm welcome at reception and felt very comfortable right from the start.

The site is well maintained and has a breathtaking view. The sanitary facilities were very clean and there was plenty of space.
The only annoyance was getting the pegs into the ground on the parceled out pitch because of the stones in the ground. But otherwise everything was perfect.
