There is plenty to do in the surrounding area. We stayed in a reasonably spacious bungalow. The shower was not very comfortable to use, as the water was either extremely hot or very cold. We went to reception... several times, but they said there was nothing they could do about it.
There was no air conditioning, but there were shutters and insect screens on the windows. The outdoor seating area was quite limited.
