The site is nice and green and there is plenty of shade. There is a rear exit which takes you quite quickly to Lübben and the water sports areas.
The condition of the sanitary facilities is unfortunately so bad that the advantages did not outweigh the disadvantages... for us. In the toilet area there was a pungent smell of urine, dirty toilets and dirty floors.
The shower and washing area is very old and there is a lot of damage. Brackets on shelves are broken off so that they hang down at an angle. Three of four fluorescent tubes are broken. The screw connection on the shower head is loose so that it just splashes against the tiles on the wall. After a change of operator, the pitches have been reduced in size, although completely different sizes are stated on the website. Even the smallest pitch is completely used up. So that you can hardly secure your markers.
The sanitary facilities are not designed for the number... of campers. The water pressure was reduced and the cleaning left a lot to be desired. Especially since the day guests BEFORE the campsite are also allowed to use the sanitary buildings for a fee.
The advantage was the peace and quiet. Although there were still so many guests, it was quiet at night from 10pm.
The catering, run by the butcher Scherz, was also highly recommended and delicious.
Payment was made immediately on arrival! There was no briefing.
As we were there for the 4th year in a row, everything was already familiar to us, but we won't be back! Too bad

Only the "main road" and the path to sanitary house I are paved. All other paths are
gravel with fine or... coarse chippings; dusty in the heat, muddy in the rain.
The remaining green areas could have been mowed between the departure and arrival times.

Bread rolls are available in the morning between 8.00 and 8.30 from the bread roll trolley. If you're not there early enough, you often won't get what you want.
You always have to feed the electricity machine yourself with 1... euro coins, which we found a bit annoying and expensive.
The individual washrooms are spacious and equipped with a shower, washbasin and toilet. In my opinion, it is not necessary to separate them by gender, as they can be locked individually and there were queues for the women in the morning, while there were free cubicles for the men.
The toilet flushes in the toilet area are often so weak that the toilet paper is not flushed away, which is quite disgusting for the next person.

The service is correct but not particularly nice. The pitch was very large. There is an access point for paddling directly at the campsite. But there are nicer places to paddle in the Spreewald. A bakery van always comes in the morning. There is a... restaurant on the campsite with typical Spreewald dishes. Electricity is charged via a coin-operated machine (1 euro). This is always a bit annoying with the refills.
The showers were always full, sometimes you had to wait. Restaurant ok, ideal for cycling and kayaking.... Sanitary building outdated needs urgent renovation. The cleaning (cleanliness) is not that great. If CP full you have to wait partly in the showers. Great is there are modern fairly new shower containers with toilet. Thanks to our reservation, the groundsman was forewarned, we received a very friendly welcome and we were provided with a perfect pitch. Other requests and questions were also dealt with in a courteous and friendly manner, and there... was a warmth that we are not used to in this area. Because we were fully equipped in the camper van, we didn't need the sanitary facilities and couldn't rate them. Renting a kayak at the campsite also worked perfectly. The proximity to the Spreelagunge means that the "life" on the site is audible. However, this never reached an unpleasant level for us.
