We've been going to Fehmarn every now and then for over 30 years, but we've never actually been to Klausdorf. Burg is easy to reach by bike, both the town center and the shopping markets.
You don't hear anything about the current building site. We were able to explore the island very well by bike in all directions. On the eastern shore, the view extends as far as Denmark.
Despite the Midsummer Bulli Festival with many guests on the island, the campsite remained pleasantly quiet.

Everything was to our satisfaction. We were also able to arrive late in the evening with the motorhome, as there are extra pitches for motorhomes so that you can also arrive late or at night. It was then possible to switch to the large camping meadow... the next day. What I also find excellent is that you can extend your stay until the evening for a small extra charge. That was perfect in our case, as we were only there for one night. I really like the dog agility course, the bike or scooter track, the children's tent for bad weather and the fact that dogs are no problem on the site. There are also dog bags. The site is simply brilliant for cyclists. There is a cycle path right next to the beautiful Baltic Sea. The site also has a restaurant and a supermarket. There is also a pizza machine and a vending machine with sweets, vapes and drinks so that you are fully catered for if you arrive late. Many a place can take a leaf out of this book. The site is located directly by the sea with access to the beach. The Fehmarn circular cycle route leads directly past the site. Very clean sanitary facilities. Restaurant and shopping facilities available at the campsite. We were there with our dog. There are great opportunities to walk your dog around the campsite. The campsite also has a fenced-in dog meadow. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.NegativnoWeak Wi-Fi with poor reception and low bandwidth. It's good enough for an email, but if you want to stream, you should use your own more powerful options. Lots of mosquitoes in places (probably due to the surrounding agriculture) Beach does not invite you to swim or linger. We were passing through from Scandinavia to the south and had a stopover of 3 days during which we felt very comfortable here. The advantages clearly outweighed the disadvantages for us.
