The campsites are nice and spacious—it’s like having your own little garden.
It’s perfect for us, since we have two big dogs.
The restrooms are spotlessly clean, and there’s plenty of space in every stall—whether it’s a shower, washroom, or restroom....
It’s also very nice that the radio is always on.
For our dogs, the dog park is a real treat. Here they can run around and play with other dogs.
The beautiful beach also invites you to go swimming, take a walk,
and collect stones.
The restaurant and the little shop are perfect.

Our campsite, with a direct view of the ocean, was simply beautiful. The restroom facilities are really very clean, and there are plenty of toilets and showers available. Since I have difficulty walking, I was very grateful for the wheelchair-accessible... entrances to the restroom facilities, as well as for the relatively high-mounted toilets in the larger restroom building (though this is something that people without mobility issues probably wouldn’t even notice).
The small supermarket has a pretty good selection. Everyone is sure to find something they like at the restaurant. We really enjoyed our meal!
The coastal bike path runs right through the campground.
Long story short, we’ll definitely be back.

It’s ideal for getting to the ferry in Puttgarden early in the morning.
We stopped by again without a reservation—no problem at all. The super-friendly lady at the front desk immediately gave me a spot in my preferred area.
The restrooms are... still state-of-the-art and spotlessly clean. You can’t ask for more. The best part: everything is quite spacious, and the shower has a “normal” faucet. Not one of those annoying push buttons that shut off after 30 seconds. So I highly recommend it, whether you’re just passing through or on a longer vacation.
The only disappointment this time: I wanted to order a pizza to go at the restaurant. When I walked in, I was told right away that she had to set the large table first. I thought she’d take my order there first and then come over to me, but after she took her sweet time sorting the cutlery and bringing it to the table, then fetched baskets of bread and butter from the kitchen and brought those to the table too, I’d had enough and left. The clean and modern restroom facilities weren’t far away either and had plenty of toilets and showers.
I found the restaurant too expensive: frozen pizza with salami for €11.50,... and a Jägerschnitzel with fries for €18.00 to go.
There are also plenty of playgrounds—a large indoor playground, several outdoor playgrounds, and a skate park.
We didn’t like the surroundings. There’s only a natural beach here, which is littered with large rocks and seaweed—a long walk along the beach isn’t possible here. The bike paths also leave something to be desired—some are in poor condition or unpaved with gravel, and in some places the bike paths even run along narrow country roads; coming from the Netherlands, I’m used to something different.
My conclusion:

It’s a great place to go biking, and Burg is a very interesting town to stroll around. Overall, we were satisfied. Everyone was very nice and friendly.NegativnoThe campground has potential for improvement! A little more maintenance of the grounds, lawns, and gravel areas. Campers with dogs should perhaps have their own designated area so that—as is the case for us without a dog—dog waste isn’t left on the lawn, which we then had to clean up ourselves, which was really gross.Our experience at Klausdorf Beach.It was our first time there, and we were satisfied 😀 It’s quiet, most of the people (fellow campers) were very friendly, the restrooms were very clean, and you can get everything from gas to bread rolls, etc. For us, Klausdorfer is the clear winner in terms of value for money, though out of all five... sites we checked out by bike, it comes in at a solid second place.
