Dogs are welcome, large exercise area with agility equipment. There are plenty of bag dispensers with correspondingly many disposal options for dog waste.
The mobile home we rented was fully equipped and well... laid out.
The only drawback was the cleanliness, here you could clean more thoroughly, the superficial cleaning was in various places (fan in the bathroom, space between toilet seat, toilet brush, work surface kitchen area, thick layer of dust shelves) to recognize.
The cleaning staff should have more time here.

But that's already complaining on a high level It would be worth considering whether the beach area could be cleared of more of the sea tank, which is quite a lot in places.Great place, gladly again.....We have now been to this place 4 times and more visits will follow.
It is very interesting in terms of price compared to other places on the island, you are right on the water and can see the ferries sailing and also the AIDA cruise ships from time to time when they sail off the coast in the evening,... fantastic.
The town of Burg can be reached by bike in a good 15 minutes via wonderful country lanes, the whole island is very bike-friendly.
The restaurant and store offer everything you need, even gas bottles can be exchanged.
The new sanitary building is absolutely amazing, everything is perfect. Sufficient toilets and showers, you can hardly count them. Both are very spacious with plenty of room. Music is played inside and there is also a separate children's area, which is really great.
We award the highest score, the place is worth a visit and whenever we visit Fehmarn we will come to Klausdorfer Strand !!!!

There were many things that we liked, but also a few points that could be improved from our point of view.
The sanitary facilities were always clean, modern and well maintained. You could often see that the staff looked... after the site. The small store is also practical, where you can get the essentials and fresh bread rolls. We ate well in the restaurant.
Even though we were there without children, we noticed that there are a few offers for families. We found the gas bottle exchange directly on site very practical. There are different sizes, including small bottles, which you don't find everywhere. We particularly liked the two machines for disposing of the toilet cassette. They were easy to use, everything was clean and the price was fair. Other vending machines offer useful little things and the pizza machine was a nice extra. The new dog shower at the sanitary building is also a nice addition.
We were less pleased with the boundaries of the pitches. They were sometimes difficult to see, which made them a little confusing. The Wi-Fi was also disappointing. It was mentioned in the pitch description, but didn't work at all during our stay.
We rented bicycles. One was immediately defective, the second was also out of order. For €25/t we would have expected much more here. We were also a little annoyed by the driving style of some guests. Many were driving much faster than permitted, and once it even became really dangerous. There should be better supervision here.
The name "dog toilet" on the site plan was confusing. It was just a bag dispenser. And there were also camper vans on the tent meadow, which seemed a bit chaotic.

Our pitch (66) with the motorhome in the front row with a sea view was super nice, even when it was cloudy or raining. The facilities with fresh water, waste water and electricity connections were perfect for us.
In the morning you could always... get fresh bread rolls in a large selection in the self-service shop, where we were always greeted in a friendly manner. All the campsite staff were also always friendly and helpful. The whole site was always in a well-kept condition and the sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day.
Also our bike tours around and across the island...just great. A place where we could completely forget the stress of everyday life.
