I was surprised that there were also campers on this meadow, who had of course secured the places at the edge, which is why I had to position myself in the middle. I would have been pleased if there had been a power connection for the tents, i.e. not with special plugs like... those used by motorhomes.
Despite having to keep a lead, I unfortunately had two large dogs nearby, which often came close to my tent, and a noisy large group as neighbors, who entertained the whole meadow. But unfortunately you can't choose that.
I had to clear up bottle caps and cigarette butts on my pitch, but basically the pitch was tidy and clean. The ground was great for camping (no large stones or similar).
Apart from that, I was only a few hundred meters away from the sanitary building, where there was even music playing. There were always enough toilets available and everything was spotlessly clean. The showers had their own cubicles including washbasins, which I wouldn't have expected. There were washbasins outside the building for washing up.
I didn't visit the restaurant or the store, but as far as I could see there was a good selection.
I was able to hire a bike spontaneously without any problems.
The staff were always nice and friendly.

Possibly great for the little ones.Beautiful campsite - ideal for families with dogsWe spent a few great days at Klausdorfer Strand - as a family with two small children and a dog in a caravan. The campsite is beautifully situated, quiet and very well maintained. We particularly liked the dog beach, which was not overcrowded and offered plenty of space to run around.
We were also impressed... with the food: the fish burger was super tasty, and even the pizza from the 24/7 vending machine really surprised us in a positive way. The restaurant and the snack bar offer really good food in a relaxed atmosphere.
The sanitary facilities were always clean and the showers are really great. A highlight for our older daughter was the lovingly designed children's bathroom - she really enjoyed it!
The pitches are spacious and tidy, you feel completely at home. In terms of location, the site is also a good starting point for excursions - we explored a lot of Fehmarn, mostly by car.
One small wish for the next time would be an indoor play area for the children that could be used at any time, regardless of the weather - that would be the icing on the cake.
All in all, we had a really nice time and would like to thank you very much. The site is quiet and beautifully situated directly on the Baltic Sea. Our pitch was a nice size. The sanitary facilities are available in sufficient numbers, are modern and were very clean at all times.... Unfortunately, we were stuck in a traffic jam for a long time and couldn't arrive by 6pm. After a phone call, the problem was solved immediately. The barrier was unlocked for us and we were able to drive straight to our pitch and check in the next morning. We were here with our two dogs. You can go for lovely walks from the campsite and are also close to the two dog beaches. We also liked the large dog area with the agility equipment. Cyclists can start beautiful tours from here. Everything was to our satisfaction. We were also able to arrive late in the evening with the motorhome, as there are extra pitches for motorhomes so that you can also arrive late or at night. It was then possible to switch to the large camping meadow... the next day. What I also find excellent is that you can extend your stay until the evening for a small extra charge. That was perfect in our case, as we were only there for one night. I really like the dog agility course, the bike or scooter track, the children's tent for bad weather and the fact that dogs are no problem on the site. There are also dog bags. The site is simply brilliant for cyclists. There is a cycle path right next to the beautiful Baltic Sea. The site also has a restaurant and a supermarket. There is also a pizza machine and a vending machine with sweets, vapes and drinks so that you are fully catered for if you arrive late. Many a place can take a leaf out of this book.
