We (2 adults, one dog) had a nice and functional cottage.
This type was especially suitable for pets.
Overall, the house could have been cleaner when we moved in. Even though we were informed in advance that animals lived in the house.

We arrived with the caravan and got a great pitch. The campsite is very clean and has lots of great facilities for young and old. We had booked 10 days and didn't even use everything that was possible with all the leisure activities on offer.

Because of all the rain, we made good use of the games under the large canopy (including table tennis). We even packed up our tent there because it rained really heavily... - unfortunately the whole week. The swimming pool is very pleasant and the water is nice and warm. We didn't like sanitary building 2 - there was a very unpleasant sewer smell in the air and it was only cleaned once a day. Sanitary building 1, on the other hand, had been renovated and had pleasant showers with spacious cubicles. It's a shame that not all sanitary buildings look like this.

Beautiful surroundings, forest path right next to the site. Nice forest playground. Unfortunately, the restaurant mainly serves burgers, albeit very good ones. The pitch was very deep but relatively narrow with water, waste water and electricity connections. We had a wonderful stay in the log cabin at the KNAUS Lackenhauser campsite. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the extremely friendly and helpful staff - you immediately feel welcome here!
The log cabin was simply fantastic: very... clean, lovingly furnished and with a wonderful view of nature. It had everything you need for a relaxing vacation and we felt at home straight away.
The leisure facilities also leave nothing to be desired - whether for families, couples or active vacationers. From the swimming pond to the adventure playground and the varied hiking and cycling trails in the surrounding area, there is something for everyone.
