Beautiful surroundings, forest path right next to the site. Nice forest playground. Unfortunately, the restaurant mainly serves burgers, albeit very good ones. We, 2 adults and 2 children, 1.5 and 3.8 years old, explored the Nahe countryside while hiking. We were there before Whitsun. The offers on the campsite and in the region were suitable for us. We had a wonderful stay in the log cabin at the KNAUS Lackenhauser campsite. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the extremely friendly and helpful staff - you immediately feel welcome here!
The log cabin was simply fantastic: very... clean, lovingly furnished and with a wonderful view of nature. It had everything you need for a relaxing vacation and we felt at home straight away.
The leisure facilities also leave nothing to be desired - whether for families, couples or active vacationers. From the swimming pond to the adventure playground and the varied hiking and cycling trails in the surrounding area, there is something for everyone.

What has happened and been improved there in recent years is amazing.
Very family-oriented and at an absolutely fair price.
What is a bit chaotic is the ordering of bread rolls.
But I think the main problem is not with the campsite but with the bakery.

The staff were very friendly, the sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but were always clean. Beautiful hiking trails right next to the CP. There is a small sledging hill for children just opposite the campsite.
