Manuela W.Ağustos 2026A great placeWe've been to this campground many times. As always, it's cozy and clean. The staff at the front desk are friendly. Beautiful beach—they’ve even thought of a dog beach and provided poop bag dispensers. Plenty of activities for kids of all ages and teens. The restaurant is great. Delicious, hearty food that’s not overpriced. The kiosk has everything you need.

The only issue was that this plot had a slope running lengthwise with a height difference of about 50 cm over a length of 10 meters, which made it impossible to park an 8.00-meter-long RV straight. The campground is in a beautiful, natural setting on Lake Vierer and is very well maintained. There’s plenty to see and explore in the surrounding area by car or bike. The supermarket is well-stocked—it has everything you need, including plenty of drinks and ice. The restaurant is also a great place to enjoy cocktails and a meal. You can rent canoes on-site—highly recommended. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We’d love to come back.

- PSPatric S.Ağustos 2026I'd love to come backThe restrooms were consistently clean and well-maintained; the staff were nice and friendly; the long-term campers were pleasant and helpful; and the campground was clean, well-maintained, and featured spacious sites. There was a small grocery store with a full selection of goods at quite reasonable... prices, as well as a restaurant that wasn’t cheap but served good food. We had booked this vacation at a campground on Kellersee but, upon arrival, changed our reservation to Augstfelde due to unacceptable space conditions and the quality of the campsites there (water pooling when it rained)—a place where we’d already felt very comfortable in the past.
