The supermarket is well-stocked—it has everything you need, including plenty of drinks and ice. The restaurant is also a great place to enjoy cocktails and a meal. You can rent canoes on-site—highly recommended. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We’d love to come back.

- PSPatric S.August 2026I'd love to come backThe restrooms were consistently clean and well-maintained; the staff were nice and friendly; the long-term campers were pleasant and helpful; and the campground was clean, well-maintained, and featured spacious sites. There was a small grocery store with a full selection of goods at quite reasonable... prices, as well as a restaurant that wasn’t cheap but served good food. We had booked this vacation at a campground on Kellersee but, upon arrival, changed our reservation to Augstfelde due to unacceptable space conditions and the quality of the campsites there (water pooling when it rained)—a place where we’d already felt very comfortable in the past. - WTWilfried T.Iulie 2026A quiet campground in a beautiful locationWe stumbled upon this campground more or less by chance and spent four days there. The campground is located on the shore of a large lake, and you have direct access to the water from your campsite. There are large grassy areas for sunbathing, several playgrounds for children, opportunities to launch... your own or a rented boat, and—something especially important for dog owners—two dedicated dog-swimming beaches to the right and left of the campground. Plenty of trash cans for general waste and for disposing of dog waste, as well as dispensers for fresh bags, ensure that the campground and its surroundings look exceptionally well-maintained and tidy. Despite it being the peak vacation season, the campground feels open and spacious. It’s quiet there. We were particularly struck by the friendliness of the staff working there. From the reception staff to the owner of the small but well-stocked supermarket, right through to the restaurant staff (who offer a quite impressive selection of delicious dishes), everyone is treated and served with kindness. The restroom facilities are good, clean, and are cleaned several times a day.

Assign specific spots to people with trailers, RVs, or visitors with dogs. And no mix-up!!
