A very nice, quiet campground with plenty of play areas for kids; the mill pond is great and safe since you can stand anywhere in the water. Good restaurant on site, top-notch restroom facilities, a bread roll delivery service—everything you need. Wi-Fi works well—but... it’s also nice that if you don’t use it, you don’t get any cell service out there in the woods anyway :) Very friendly, helpful staff! There’s plenty to explore in the area; this time we visited the gemstone mine—a great, interesting tour. - Holger S.Haziran 2026A true gem that's sure to make you feel goodThe kids felt right at home and had a blast. Which, ultimately, means one thing for us: we had a great time. The staff was super friendly, and the welcome was truly warm. The activities for kids are fantastic—the gemstone hunt, in particular, is a real highlight. Anyone with kids—or who’s young at heart—should... definitely visit this place at least once.
Overall, the site is a gem, just like the surrounding area. It just needs a bit of polishing in a few spots to reach its full potential and quality.
What do I mean by that?
A few examples:
The site’s location naturally results in limited cell phone reception. That’s understandable in principle, but the Wi-Fi isn’t available throughout the entire site either, and it’s only free for one hour twice a day. In my view, that’s no longer appropriate for a five-star site.
Some areas of the campground seem as though they need a little more attention. The restrooms and showers are clean, but they feel rather cold and have a swimming pool-like atmosphere. The signage along the paths is partially overgrown with grass.
Something was being burned in a stove in the washhouse, which was emitting thick smoke from the chimney and smelled strongly.
It’s important to me to note that these are minor issues that I wouldn’t mention if I didn’t personally have a certain expectation of what a five-star campground should be like.
Our campsite was good; electricity, water, and sewage were available. However, I was glad that our awning was only 2.5 meters wide. We had a short walk to the washhouse.
Our overall impression remains clearly positive: We had a wonderful time and can definitely see ourselves coming back—provided we’re still welcome after this honest review.

The fan is on from morning to night, the muffled "banging" when the children bounce and the constant (8 - 22:10) screaming and shouting of the children. This was not relaxing for us.
Kitchen could... be a bit better equipped and mattresses were too thin for us. Otherwise really great apartments - unfortunately in the wrong place. Improvements would be the food situation, there is no snack bar with fast food for children and take-away food in the restaurant would be good.

There is no WLAN included except for one hour a day. Before leaving you had to queue for the few toilets. The hiking trail through the forest is confusingly marked and led into a swampy area.
