Very nice campsite. There is also a nice little pool to cool off in. The pitches are relatively large. Staff all very nice, even in the restaurant. We found the food in the restaurant very good. Very easy to reach. Nice central location.

Although it is located directly on a main road, we didn't find it noisy at all.

We have been visiting the campsite for years at different times of the year for both short and longer stays and have never been disappointed.
Always a friendly welcome at reception and helpful staff.

There is also... a nice little pool to cool off in. The pitches are relatively large. Staff all very nice, even in the restaurant. We found the food in the restaurant very good.
So absolutely recommendable, we've been here several times and will definitely be back. We were always given a warm and courteous welcome. The restaurant with Italian cuisine is also on site and can be recommended. Sanitary facilities are constantly cleaned.
Simply to enjoy the camping vacation and relax.

Beautiful campsite
A somewhat outdated campsite with charm. A warm welcome from Monika, the soul of the campsite.
We always enjoy coming back here, it's like coming home.

Solid campsite in the "Bergdoktor" region
Pitch laid out in terraces with very large pitches (grass and gravel).
Comfort pitches with fresh water and waste water connections.
WLAN sometimes weak.
Restaurant on site.
Kiosk with bread roll service.
Swimming pool open, but too cold at the end of September.
Modern and very clean sanitary facilities....

We regretted that the beautiful hiking routes could only be reached by car.
The extremely advantageous photos of the campsite disguise the fact that the site is located directly on a busy road and a railroad line.

Great, terraced complex with pool, large playground, restaurant, beautiful and well-kept shower area.
We had booked for 10 days. Despite arriving a day early and the site being fully booked, we were able to get an emergency pitch for 1 night. Super nice operators and a great team behind it.
The weather... was great, around 30°, and the pool provided a pleasant cool-down in between. Even in bad weather, there are leisure activities for young and old (appropriate lounges are available).
Shopping facilities are about 2 km away.
On departure we were even able to take advantage of a late check-out until 6pm. We really liked that.
We absolutely love coming here again and again.

Super campsite
The campsite is located directly on the Hohe Salve. The pitches are nice and big, the wash house is a dream and very clean. The playground is the highlight for the children. They still talk about it and we were there in August 2025. The occasional covered wagon rides with the tractor across the site... were also very popular. Everyone is very friendly. The restaurant on the site didn't blow me away, but that's a matter of taste. We will definitely be back.

Unfortunately, there were already no more rolls at 8.30 / 9.00 am.

Very nice campsite, although it is right next to a main road, we didn't find it noisy at all.
There is also a nice little pool to cool off in. The pitches are relatively large. Staff all very nice, even in the restaurant. We found the food in the restaurant very good.
So absolutely recommendable, this was our third time here and we will definitely be back.

No camping store or shopping facilities on the site, a bit narrow in places for maneuvering
Nice campsite
We were looking for a campsite for a stopover on the way to Lake Garda, and this was the only place that offered us a three-night stay.

It is a great campsite located directly on the main road and can therefore be reached from the highway within a few minutes. The main road can be heard, but we didn't... find this disturbing.

The pool is quite cool, which was very welcome when the outside temperature was around 35°.

The adventure playground on the campsite is fantastic and very lovingly designed.

Good starting point for hikes, for example to the Hohe Salve.

Unfortunately, there were no shopping facilities on the site.

We would not necessarily want to spend 2-3 weeks on vacation here, the place was a bit too simple for that (as described no shopping facilities), but as a stopover for several days (< 1 week) a great opportunity with plenty of leisure activities

Not really, the campsite can't help disrespectful guests who leave the sanitary facilities like pigs.
Vacation in Tyrol
Well located campsite with very friendly staff and beautiful pitches.
It was not our first time there, as this site is a good starting point for numerous activities. Bread roll service available, good restaurant on the site, could only offer more regional dishes. Nice sauna.
At our time there were a... lot of Dutch families on the site, which is not a problem and we have never had any negative experiences. But this time it was the older children who had formed real gangs, running around the campsite and other people's pitches shouting halfway through the night, besieging the wash house, playing hide and seek, toilets were blocked with toilet paper and some of the campsite's property was vandalized or damaged almost every day of our stay, usually only really getting going after 10 pm because that's when the groundsmen had their well-deserved night off. Many others also felt bothered by this, even our dear Dutch neighbors who have had a permanent pitch there for many years said that they had never experienced anything like it. But the campsite can't be held responsible for the behavior of the guests, and we would still like to come back.

the staff were very friendly and helpful. the toilets and showers were nice and clean. the bathroom was spacious and there was plenty of water. there were plenty of places to stay with the caravan. and the restaurant had plenty of room.

Family paradise
We visited the campsite as a stopover on our trip from Lower Austria to Switzerland so that the children could let off steam. The playground and pool were just right for this! The playground is a real paradise for children and the creative equipment means that adults can also enjoy playing ;) A walk... through the forest on the Schlossberg is also recommended. And the sanitary facilities are incredibly family-friendly - we've rarely had such a relaxed shower/bath!!! (children's bathtub) at a campsite. Five of us were able to bathe in peace and quiet - there was room for everyone in the mini-bathroom (not booked separately). It would be nice if more campsites were more family-friendly :) And reservations are not necessary even in July - an important point when traveling with children, as you don't always know when you need/want to take a break!

The area is great located on the way to Garda see, and we spend 3-5 days exploring the mountains and surrounding cities. Fast in and out, flat lots with solid power. Fine breakfast store and restaurant and pizza in the evening. Shopping is 2 minuts by car.

The pool is cold, and the Guy looking out for the pool is not very polite. We ended up only using it once, no jumping, no running, we feel its better to just stay away from the pool. Railway is loud, but the road works has been going on every week day from 7 o'clock with jack hammer. We usually don't mind the traffic and railroad, but this was quite aweful.
Great location with hiking
We will be back, but we will make sure the roadwork is done, otherwise we will find alternatives. Easy transit camping with such beautiful nature, local baths with outdoor facilities, castles and cities.

Beautiful and family-friendly
I was really pleasantly surprised by the campsite in Itter. The site is laid out in terraces and offers a great view of the valley - perfect for hiking or just relaxing. I particularly liked how clean and well-kept everything was - the sanitary facilities in particular were excellent. The staff were... also friendly and helpful throughout, making you feel very welcome.

Overall, I felt very comfortable and would definitely come back. A cozy, well-kept place with heart - absolutely recommendable!

Just super nice. Booked at short notice, very nice communication, reception and briefing on the site. Delicious food, beautiful sanitary facilities and the highlight for the kids: the incredibly beautiful and varied playground. We will be back.

Recommended campsite
The site is beautifully situated, everything is always very clean, free ticket for public transport with stops at the campsite, great sanitary facilities, swimming pool, large playground, also good for cycling tours + hiking, large restaurant with garden restaurant.

The pitch and the size of the pitch were great. We also really liked the pool. The staff at the campsite were always very friendly and helpful. All around it is a very nice campsite. We can only recommend the campsite.
