It is a great campsite located directly on the main road and can therefore be reached from the highway within a few minutes. The main road can be heard, but we didn't... find this disturbing.
The pool is quite cool, which was very welcome when the outside temperature was around 35°.
The adventure playground on the campsite is fantastic and very lovingly designed.
Good starting point for hikes, for example to the Hohe Salve.
Unfortunately, there were no shopping facilities on the site.

The playground and pool were just right for this! The playground is a real paradise for children and the creative equipment means that adults can also enjoy playing ;) A walk... through the forest on the Schlossberg is also recommended. And the sanitary facilities are incredibly family-friendly - we've rarely had such a relaxed shower/bath!!! (children's bathtub) at a campsite. Five of us were able to bathe in peace and quiet - there was room for everyone in the mini-bathroom (not booked separately). Fine breakfast store and restaurant and pizza in the evening. Shopping is 2 minuts by car.НегативиThe pool is cold, and the Guy looking out for the pool is not very polite. We ended up only using it once, no jumping, no running, we feel its better to just stay away from the pool. Railway is loud, but the road works has been going on every week day from 7 o'clock with jack hammer. We usually don't mind the traffic and railroad, but this was quite aweful.Great location with hikingWe will be back, but we will make sure the roadwork is done, otherwise we will find alternatives. It was 30 degrees every day and we loved using the pool!НегативиThe road with very loud vehicles was directly 30 meters away and there was also a stupid construction site - which the place can't do anything about now. But it was very loud! On the square itself, vehicles drove past very quickly on the road very early in the morning. Signs saying "Please drive slowly!Beautiful vacationAs in all nice place. The pool was freezing cold - but it says heated in the description. The road is a bit close to the pitch and very noisy which we found a bit annoying at the very front. It's nice that there's a toilet block downstairs so you don't always have to walk to the sanitary facilities!... Our children particularly liked the playground! Something unusual and in great colors! We were out and about a lot during the day and didn't use the restaurant on the site. We would also like to thank you for your open comments regarding the noise situation. Unfortunately, the construction site nearby is beyond our control, but we understand that road noise can be a nuisance - especially for parking spaces close to the driveway. We take your suggestion regarding the signage for driving speeds on the site seriously and are looking into how we can ensure greater peace and safety here.
Regarding the pool, we are sorry if the water temperature did not meet your expectations. Although the pool is generally heated, the actual temperature can vary slightly depending on the weather. We will check our description again and make it more transparent if necessary.

As parents, we found the size absolutely perfect. The swimming pool is well fenced off so that the small children can't go into the water on their own. There are fresh bread rolls in the morning, and you can eat really well in the restaurant at lunchtime and in the evening - including lots of options for vegetarians and vegans. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the showers upstairs are huge - there's room for the whole gang of rascals.НегативиThe playground is at the very beginning of the campsite and the main road runs right past it. There is no fence so that the children could run out of the area. There are also no shops on the campsite itself - but 2 minutes away by car directly in the neighboring village - but that didn't bother us personally. I personally find the prices for the washing machine and dryer a bit expensive.Vacation June 2025We were completely satisfied at the campsite. We found the size of the pitches absolutely sufficient. The pitches are divided into levels and almost all of them have trees or bushes that provide plenty of shade. We take your comments about the location of the playground and the lack of a fence very seriously.
