Renske T.juli 2026PositivaPlenty of shaded areas Friendly staff Delicious food at the beach café Inexpensive laundry serviceNegativaLong walk to the restroom area No designated spots, so you end up crowded with lots of people in a tight space. No scratches, just a lot of sand Very crowded Lots of noiseNot for a quiet vacationWe saw mostly positive reviews, but we didn’t have a positive experience at the park. It was very noisy, the lake started to smell, and there was a lot of sand. The restroom building was a 5-minute walk for us. On weekends, the park is absolutely packed. Since there are no reserved spots, it was really... a struggle to secure a spot upon arrival. The staff was very friendly; when we told them we were disappointed, they gave us a refund and let us leave early. That was really nice.Automatiskt översatt.Inga campare har markerat det här omdömet som hjälpsamt ännu. The heating in one house did not work. One phone call and within 20 minutes the problem was solved by staff - perfect. We would love to come back. Vara den första! - 3.0MWMartin W.oktober 2025PositivaVery friendly staffNegativaOktoberfest into the night ... Long cable may be necessaryA long weekend by the lakeWe spontaneously decided on the campsite based on the reviews and the location. The reservation was very straightforward and a solution was also offered for our arrival after 6pm.
The search for a pitch on site took some getting used to: the area for day guests is completely unparceled and is located... in an old oak stand.
The disadvantage of the weekend was that the site was dominated by a large group of Brits (the traveling people category) who had spread out over the entire area.
The bathing lake is in a good condition and invited me to cool off even at this time of year.
The large oak trees kept dropping their fruit from a great height onto the caravan roof, which made me wonder what the roof would look like now ...
Nordkirchen Castle, but also Vischering Castle and the boat lift in Henrichenburg are nearby destinations that are easy to reach by bike or car.
Shopping facilities are available in nearby Selm.Automatiskt översatt.1 campare tyckte att detta omdöme var hjälpsamt. - 4.0JGJürgen G.september 2025Autumn weekendWe found it very pleasant that there were no dogs on the site and therefore no dog barking disturbed the atmosphere. - 5.0MSMike S.september 2025PositivaClose to homeNegativaNo dogs allowedBeautifulWe enjoyed the last days of summer from 19 to 21.09.25 in two tents, 5 adults and 5 children! Everyone was thrilled! Children could swim all day on their own as the tents were directly opposite. As an angler, I was able to fish cheaply and successfully. We had a wonderful view from the tent and could... enjoy the sunrise and sunset.
As the tents are close to each other, I was worried that the neighbors would be too loud and the children wouldn't be able to sleep. But otherwise it was fine. As it's quiet time after 10pm, it was nice and quiet.
The whole atmosphere in the park was very cozy and warm. I had the feeling of having only happy people around me.
Staff was very friendly and helpful!

- 4.0BBBärbel B.september 2025Good placeVery quiet stay.
Vegetation at the lake could be cut back a bit, because of the better view of the lake.
Cottage no. IV for two people a bit too small, for 1 person ok.

WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR EXTENDED CAMPING WEEKEND AT YOUR CAMPSITE. THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY, THE SANITARY FACILITIES WERE VERY CLEAN AND THE PRICES WERE ABSOLUTELY OKAY. WHAT WE FOUND VERY UNFORTUNATE WAS THAT THERE WAS ONLY ONE FRESH WATER CONNECTION FOR THE MANY PITCHES IN THE FOREST... AREA AND NO POSSIBILITY TO DISPOSE OF WASTE WATER IN THE IMMEDIATE VICINITY. EXPLORING THE SURROUNDING AREA BY BIKE IS WONDERFUL. IF THE WEATHER IS DRY, WE WILL CERTAINLY COME BACK AGAIN. IF IT RAINS, THE PITCHES IN THE FOREST AREA CAN BE QUITE DIRTY. BUT WE WILL RECOMMEND THE SITE TO OUR CAMPING FRIENDS.
THANKS FOR A REALLY GREAT WEEKEND, BEST REGARDS TO THE WHOLE TEAM, CHRISTOPH AND STEPHAN FROM HAGEN.Automatiskt översatt.Inga campare har markerat det här omdömet som hjälpsamt ännu. - 5.0TMTom M.september 2025PositivaShort distances to the lake, sanitary facilities and beach café.Highly recommended 👌🏻We were there with the motorhome. We really liked the site. We particularly liked the free choice of pitches. The sanitary facilities are very clean and spacious.

Vara den första! - 4.0MWManfred Willi D.september 2025PositivaNo dogs, sandy beach, supervised bathing beach, good beach café.NegativaSmell of manure on the campsite, lack of shopping facilitiesPositive overall impressionThe dog-free site is very pleasant, the pitches are also fine and we really liked the access to the lake with its sandy beach. The beach café is also worth a visit, the chips are very tasty. The only negative point is the smell of liquid manure that keeps drifting over the campsite, is there a sewage treatment plant nearby? It would also be nice to be able to do some small shopping on site, I'm thinking of everyday camping supplies.Automatiskt översatt.Inga campare har markerat det här omdömet som hjälpsamt ännu. - 3.0MGMatthias G.augusti 2025Idyllic location, ideal for childrenBusiness stay at the end of August 2025. Very good, fast booking system and communication with the campsite.
Very nicely located place on a small lake. Small restaurant on the lake.
Very friendly staff at the reception. Helpful.
To the place: Narrow barrier passage. With a large trailer with a width... of 2.50 m, pay attention to the lower left steel post, color-coded. Good access to the site, even with a large trailer.
Oak forest with only one clearing where you have satellite reception. No waste water or fresh water connection. No fire extinguishers seen, although barbecues are in use.
Long way to the toilet block from the rear. Don't forget your bike. Sandy forest floor without drainage. Free pitch allocation.
It was full at the weekend and when I came back at 7 o'clock on Friday evening, my caravan was surrounded by tents, vans and motorhomes, sometimes only 2.5 m apart. In the evening there were lots of children playing and parents partying. I was amazed at how much you can drink. Nevertheless, everything was peaceful and the site was quiet at 10 pm.
About the toilet block: Aged container solution, last seen like this 20 years ago in NL. Very clean, no defects. Shower but with world brands and really only 5 minutes of hot water. Disposal of toilet cassettes exemplary.
Please note:
No pets!
Conclusion: Ideal for families with small children who want to experience something.
Recommendation: It is essential to build a modern, contemporary toilet block. Invest in the campsite area for tourists (disposal and supply). Fire extinguishers? Abolish the shower tokens, even if the price has to be increased.
Therefore only three out of 5 stars. Nevertheless, I would recommend the site.Automatiskt översatt.1 campare tyckte att detta omdöme var hjälpsamt. - 5.0ASAstrid S.augusti 2025As always very positiveThe only thing we had to complain about was that the beds were not made...but that's complaining on a high level!

After a very friendly check-in, we arrived at our pitch, which was beautifully situated in the forest and right by the water. Another camper let us use his stand up paddle and the children were totally happy. The sanitary facilities were very tidy and on Friday evening there was a free band playing at dinner. We had homemade pizza and freshly tapped beer at the beach café and were very happy. Keep up the good work!Automatiskt översatt.Inga campare har markerat det här omdömet som hjälpsamt ännu.
