As soon as you arrive, you feel right at home—even at check-in, when you’re greeted warmly. The entire facility—including the restrooms and outdoor areas—is very clean. Great ride on the “Watzmobil”—a kind of on-demand bus that you can easily book via an app and that costs just €2 per person for a trip in the Berchtesgadener Land. This way, you can leave the RV behind or use it if you can’t make the return trip from a mountain hike.NegativanoneA fantastic location in a beautiful areaEverything's great
It's a bit off the beaten path, but perfect for great hikes, and thanks to the Watzmobil, you can get around easily even without a carAutomatiskt översatt.Inga campare har markerat det här omdömet som hjälpsamt ännu. Since we're parked on gravel, we can't set up our dog fence, but that's just a minor complaint ;)Pure NatureWe feel very comfortable here and enjoy the view of the mountains from our campsite.Automatiskt översatt.Inga campare har markerat det här omdömet som hjälpsamt ännu. - 5.0RNRainer N.september 20255.0RNRainer N.september 2025PositivaBeautifully situated Alpine campsite with spacious pitches. Electricity, water/waste water at the pitch, top sanitary facilities! Bread roll service, very friendly site owner!NegativaThere is nothing to complain about! As a note: maybe you should think about a little better path illumination!Beautiful alpine campsiteWe spent 9 wonderful days and nights at this very well-kept and quiet place in the middle of the Berchtesgaden Alps.
Obersalzberg with Eagle's Nest, Berchtesgaden Salt Mine, Cafegasthof "Graflhöhe" called the Windbeutelbaron, Bad Reichenhall Salt Works, Watzmann-Therme, Predigtstuhlbahn with hike to... the Amhütte "Schlegelmulde", the Seissenberg Gorge and quaint inns were some of the highlights of our stay and very easy to reach within a short distance from the CP!

- 4.0LELysann E.april 20254.0LELysann E.april 2025PositivaQuiet, heated and modern sanitary facilitiesNegativaUnparceled, sloping tent meadow, no restaurant or shopping facilitiesCamping with a mountain panoramaAs a camper, you are less well catered for here than with a motorhome / caravan, as there is only one meadow for tents, which a) is sloping and b) offers hardly any individual space. There are hardly any trees or bushes and it is difficult to put up a washing line. You are practically sitting on a platter.... The mountain panorama is unbelievably beautiful; a short walk around the nearby lake is worthwhile. There is a lounge and a drying room. The sanitary facilities are heated, as good as new and well maintained, but could reach their capacity limits. For food, you have to go to restaurants or do your shopping in the nearby towns - there is nothing else. The peace and quiet is only rarely interrupted by motorcyclists on the road. A place with a feel-good factor!Automatiskt översatt.Inga campare har markerat det här omdömet som hjälpsamt ännu. Vara den första!

Beautiful asphalted, paved paths.
New sanitary facilities. Extremely clean.
Bakery items also on Saturday, Sunday, public holiday which is great.
Nice little hikes around the Taubensee and Hintersee from the square feasible.
During the... whole stay it was very quiet day and night although there were also children on the site.
Ramsau and Berchtesgaden are only a stone's throw away.
I would like to emphasize the Gasthaus Wachterl which conjures up very good, delicious food.
We ate there twice and it was simply delicious.
The restaurants in Ramsau are also very good, they always changed daily.
Overall a nice quiet place to relax with and without children. Ideal starting point for hikes in the surrounding area. The pitches are mostly gravel, which is an advantage in the fall when it rains. All connections directly at the pitch. - 5.0SASebastian A.augusti 20245.0SASebastian A.augusti 2024PositivaCleanliness, quiet, family-friendly, beautiful surroundingsNegativaNext shopping opportunity a little further away, our pitch could perhaps have been a little biggerHighly recommendedA super campsite with great pitches, great views of the mountains and a top environment. The site is family-friendly with a small playground, very quiet and not overcrowded even when fully booked. The operators are friendly and helpful. There are two sanitary buildings, one older and one new. The cleanliness... should be emphasized, it is really above average. They clean once a day, but they also clean in between every now and then, refill paper towels etc. This is something you rarely see. You rarely see anything like that. The site itself also looks very clean and tidy. A big compliment for that.
There is also a bread roll service every day and a small kiosk with a small selection of food. There is also a large lounge with a TV, table football and a table tennis table.
Some of the pitches could perhaps be a little bigger, but that's complaining on a high level. Each pitch has an electricity connection, a fresh water connection and a waste water connection.
In short, a highly recommended campsite. We will certainly be back.Automatiskt översatt.3 campare tyckte att detta omdöme var hjälpsamt. - 5.0PBPeter B.augusti 20245.0PBPeter B.augusti 2024PositivaGreat, quiet location.
