excellent condition. During our four-day stay, a food truck was on site twice for dinner.
The only improvement would be a wider selection and longer hours at the kiosk, but that doesn't detract from the overall experience at all. Marion R.juni 20264.0Marion R.juni 2026PositivaThe site is located outside of Ruhpolding, right next to the golf course. You’re on a slightly fenced-in area with a very well-maintained lawn “right outside your door.” The restrooms and other facilities are very clean. Bread roll service available Showers are included! This is now very rare and the space is generous. Bus stop on site.NegativaThe campground is located about 4 km outside of Ruhpolding. There’s no problem cycling into town. There’s a beautiful bike path through the forest along a stream. Whether that’s a drawback is up for debate. However, there are no places to eat or shop at the campground. Drinks are available from a vending machine, though. Wi-Fi is available but billed separately.Relaxing Days of Hiking in RuhpoldingOverall, we liked the campground. It’s very quiet with a view of the mountains, and the golf course also offers a bit of a sense of open space.
The location, just under 4 km outside of town, is easy to get to. It was too far for us to walk just to get ice cream or a drink, so we took our bikes instead.... You can start some beautiful hikes right from the campground without having to take the bus.
Overall, we rate the campground as “good” and would definitely visit it again. The public transportation connections are great, but of course rather infrequent.
A place perfect for a whole vacation—ideal for older couples, but especially for young families (playhouse!!!) and, above all, for golfers. It has a small sports field with a soccer goal, volleyball net and a small playground. For rainy weather there is a play barn with table football, table tennis and toys for younger children. You can also get a guest card on site, with which you can do great activities... for free. The campsite is the ideal starting point for cycling tours and hikes.
This was our second time at the campsite as a family with 2 children (8,10). And certainly not the last time ;-)Automatiskt översatt. The booked pitch was spacious and the sanitary facilities very clean, comfortable and nice and warm in the cold season. Some cross-country... ski trails were within easy reach and the view of the surrounding area directly from the pitch was beautiful. The center of Ruhpolding is about 40 minutes walk, which you can easily walk along the white Traun. Food markets such as Aldi/Netto are also a 10-15 minute walk away. A bus runs directly in front of the campsite during the biathlon events, although it is reduced considerably outside of the event. I would also like to thank you here for your helpfulness and sympathy for my
hand fracture after sporting activity on a cross-country ski trail.
Despite the accident, it was a wonderful, relaxing vacation and we will be happy to return. - 5.0
