You’re on a slightly fenced-in area with a very well-maintained lawn “right outside your door.” The restrooms and other facilities are very clean. Bread roll service available Showers are included! This is now very rare and the space is generous. Bus stop on site.MinusuriThe campground is located about 4 km outside of Ruhpolding. There’s no problem cycling into town. There’s a beautiful bike path through the forest along a stream. Whether that’s a drawback is up for debate. However, there are no places to eat or shop at the campground. Drinks are available from a vending machine, though. Wi-Fi is available but billed separately.Relaxing Days of Hiking in RuhpoldingOverall, we liked the campground. It’s very quiet with a view of the mountains, and the golf course also offers a bit of a sense of open space.
The location, just under 4 km outside of town, is easy to get to. It was too far for us to walk just to get ice cream or a drink, so we took our bikes instead.... You can start some beautiful hikes right from the campground without having to take the bus.

It has a small sports field with a soccer goal, volleyball net and a small playground. For rainy weather there is a play barn with table football, table tennis and toys for younger children. You can also get a guest card on site, with which you can do great activities... for free. The campsite is the ideal starting point for cycling tours and hikes.

The booked pitch was spacious and the sanitary facilities very clean, comfortable and nice and warm in the cold season. Some cross-country... ski trails were within easy reach and the view of the surrounding area directly from the pitch was beautiful. The center of Ruhpolding is about 40 minutes walk, which you can easily walk along the white Traun. Food markets such as Aldi/Netto are also a 10-15 minute walk away. A bus runs directly in front of the campsite during the biathlon events, although it is reduced considerably outside of the event. I would also like to thank you here for your helpfulness and sympathy for my
hand fracture after sporting activity on a cross-country ski trail.

It is clear and obvious that dogs are not allowed. Every dog owner inquires in advance. Their own selfishness has been shown limits, then they just blame the operators (themselves). The location between the mountains is unique. It's wonderful for hiking and cycling. The town is very close by bike and the outdoor pool is a dream. The site is incredibly clean, the wash house has underfloor heating and is always... well maintained. The operators are incredibly attentive, we really got to like them. We actually wanted to go on to Italy, but just couldn't tear ourselves away and stayed there for the whole vacation. With the Chiemgaukart you have various activities for free. You save a lot of money, as the cable cars/chair lifts are otherwise expensive, for example. In Austria we had spent so much money on this, here we were on 3 mountains for free. Hard to believe. Outdoor pool, climbing forest, flyline, ceramic painting, all free. The campsite has a really nice atmosphere, even the permanent campers are very nice, we've had very different experiences. You immediately feel at home and everything you need is available. The children on the site naturally play intensively with the play barn and sometimes damage things. During our stay, the table football table was broken, it was repaired immediately and new pieces were installed. It all works incredibly well.
